Defo agree that you should try before you buy. We did - my mum bought one and we used it while they were decorating. It was awful!! (IMO
)
We found it too hot and sweayy. As it moulds to your bosy there seems to be no air movement. Also if I rolled over in the night I had to raise myself for a few seconds to allow it to flatten again otherwise I would fall back into the hole I had just been in!!
It was a fairly expensive one from a local bed shop, and this was less than six months ago! Surely a reputable company would have so much faith in its product it would let you have on a weeks trial?0 -
we've got the Impressions Extra memory foam/visco elastic mattress from John Lewis. expensive but fantastic, worth it.
in fact just about to buy the normal Impressions mattress for son.0 -

I got a memory foam mattress from Factory Shack today it cost £360 for a Kingsize which I thought was a reasonible price. I would say it is medium/firm and when I layed on it, it seemed really comfortable.
It arrives on Thursday so I cant wait to try it out.
They had the memory pillows (latex) and they were very comfortable too but at £29.99 they were too expensive. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0 -
for those with a topper, how did you secure it to the matress? does it move during the night? and can you get a normal sheet around it and the normal matress underneath?

Ours is made by Komfi. I'm a hot blooded person, thought it would be an issue but have had no problems at all with getting warm.
As has been said before, nookie is not that easy on these matresses, but can be done (baby TallTree due soon)0
