to enter code use the * key to enter the W - P and +. push twice for the +, 3 times for the P and so on.

After you enter the code you should get a message which hopefully says 'Restriction Removed' or something like that.
yo only get 5 tries so post back if these are no good
also try a voda or virgin sim so you can find out the correct n/work

Tried a virgin sim card in it and it didn't work, so I tried the above code for Vodafone and I got the following message "Cannot Undo Restriction".

Does that mean is blocked?

yes, means it is hard locked, needs unlocking by cable/box in a shop

i have a sagem myx-7 locked on 02.
does anyone know if 02 will unlock it for me.
i think virgin unlock phones 4 u after u have spent 30.00 with them.
or can i unlock it any other way?

they should give you the code but they will want paying for it, not sure how much though?

Same thing has happened mine probably out of my own stupidity when trying to follow how to do it here. Want to put it on an 02 sim. Should I take it to an 02 shop or where is the best place? Roughly how much does it cost to unlock? Its just the phone isn't used very much and if it was an expensive process might just make sense to leave it on its current locked status. Thanks in advance for any help.:)

an o2 shop wont do it and you cant pay o2 for the code now as you wont be able to enter it after 5 tries are used
you need somewhere like a market stall that has the correct hardware or try an independant phone shop expect to pay £10ish as it cant be done by code now.
