Is it possible to unlock older Nokias? I'm thinking specifically of the 8210 – it's a phone I've always liked and I'm thinking of getting one off of ebay now that they're going relatively cheaply. I'd want ot know that I could get it unlocked before I get one, though.

Take out sim
Switch on phone without sim in
type one of the following codes in (try 5 first, then 7 if that doesn't work, then 2, then the rest in any order)
Once you have tried putting one of the codes in you should get a message when complete (sim restriction off)
take off battery fit new sim then switch back on.
If sim still blocked try again with another code(in order as listed, 5, 7, 2, then rest)

WARNING - you get 5 goes, if no luck after 5 then it's hard locked (will cost you £10 down local market to get unlocked with cable)

NOTE - some people have reported these phones restarting when using wap after being unlocked and putting o2 sim in, if this is the case run whole sequence again to remove further locks on your phone using a code above you have not already tried. The codes above are genrated by the info given, I take no responsability if the codes hard lock your phone i'm simply passing on info

Is currently Orange, I would like to unlock it but the menu is not easy like Nokia.

Any idea how to unlock it?
