I'm having trouble unlocking my Nokia 1100.
(1) imei number: 355689007106124
(2) locked to Virgin UK
(3) Location: London
I've tried these 2 codes, and neither work:
#pw+425017044321426+5#
#pw+419297445417115+1#
Can anyone help?0 -
Hi all,
1) IMEI: 490546304597288
2) Network: Vodafone UK
3) Location: Manchester UK
4) Codes tried: #pw+8642023987+1#
5) Ver: V0.5.22 01-07-99 NSE-1
I have two Nokia 5110's my wife and I bought in Australia ~7 years ago, they were both with Vodafone Australia, and when we moved here we bought Vodafone UK sims. Both phones took the new vodafone sims fine, but I recently started getting far too many premium rate texts @ £1.50 a pop, so we decided to switch to Tesco mobile sims. My wife's phone took the new sim no problem, mine asks for a security code when I put the TM sim in, and works fine and doesn't ask for the security code when I put the Vodafone sim back in.
I tried looking at http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ and downloaded the v1.4 DCT4 calculator by Cyberdog and Hollowman 2003 and I just went to http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp and put in the details, got back:
Phone type: DCT3
Model: 5110
IMEI: 490546304597288
Network: 23415
GID 1: E1FF
#pw+8642023987+1#
#pw+3262883949+2#
And tried the first code and it said "Sim is not restricted", so now what do I do? Is my phone even locked? and can anyone point me in the right direction for what to do next. BTW, if I put the vodaphone sim in, and go to Phone Settings - Security, there are options to enter 3 codes, the security code, the Pin code and the Pin2 code, I only know the pin code.
Ta.

When I switch the phone on with the Tesco Mobile Sim in, the phone asks for a security code, and 12345 doesn't work. My wife has an identical phone and hers works fine with a Tesco Mobile Sim in and doesn't ask for a code (we just bought a twin pack of sims today at Tesco, adjacent numbers).
AS an update, I've just tried all four sims in both phones, my wifes phone works fine with all 4 (2 vodaphone, 2 tesco), and with the Tesco sims in see's BT Cellnet, then Tesco.
My phone works fine with my Vodaphone sim, but asks for the security code with the other 3, ie my wifes Vodaphone sim and both the new Tesco sims.
Anyone got any ideas.
