I wonder how the cameras will determine how disabled a driver is? You could easily be the RK and fit but the passenger is disabled, how would a camera sort that out?

They don't care if a driver is truly disabled (like they have the right to make that call anyway), all they care about is whether a blue badge is on display.

That'll be for the parking company to sort out. I've posted the very generic details which is all we know at the present time.

It's not the badge that's necessary, it's the vehicle being registered I believe? Like I said I'm not 100% on this as it's not happened yet and I doubt it will start any time soon.

isn't that part of the T&C's for being able to park in a disabled spot? that you display a blue badge, the same if it's on a public road and not a private car park?

Well yes but I was talking about it from the cameras perspective. :)
Since our car park isn't patrolled it makes nowt difference if a blue badge is displayed or not.

And my T&Cs are that only blue badge holders can reply to my post. Ludicrous.

You don't register the vehicle - For example my Mother is a blue badge holder and she can display it in whatever car (all be it mine, my brothers etc). The Blue badge is issued to the person not a car.

All that is necessary is a victim to bully into paying. I regulary take my sister out who has MS and park in the private 'disabled bays', I am still waiting for a PPC stupid enough to take me to court after their pointless threats. They won't of course, as the case will be laughed out.

You seem naive, like a PPC is their to solve your parking problem - they are not. They truly are scum of the earth.

ok, dyslexia is classed as a disability. Does that mean that dyslexics can park in disabled bays?
If you don't qualify for a blue badge then you can't have disabled parking rights as you apparently don't need them.

they'll be a register as well as you can have disabled tax, not sure what the criteria for that is though
