  • They deduct striaght off the payslip before handing you the salary
  • And you have about 30 people on here telling you how to save money, but you won't take their advice!

All of which have been dont eat food - Eat soup - Is that a joke or something - Theres not one piece of advice other then about food which if I am honest I cant cut back on.

    Can't??????!!!!!!! I think you mean won't!!!!!!

I dread to think what the hell you are eating, but I'm gonna get me some shares in Waitrose - they must love you!!!!

I have a pal who is a stockbroker in the city on a 6 figure salary (plus enormous bonuses), but he has far more sense than to spend that amount on food for himself!!!!!

You need a serious re-think, my friend.

When you come to your senses or even grow up come back. There has been plenty of advice you choose not to take any on board so  no point in wasting time on this any further.

  • Is a shared flat not an option? I also can't understand why you are getting taxis when you have paid for a travelcard! My best friend lives in Canary Wharf and works in the city, she often uses the DLR later than 8pm at night to travel home without a problem.

I'm a graduate too and i've just started working for a large accountancy firm; I am living on less than half of your salary (£16000) so for you to say that you can't live on £40000 to me seems ridiculous.

My flatmate and I spend £175 a month on food between us and even this seems generous. I am based in the North but spend a lot of my time in London and there is no way that the increased cost of living means that you need to spend £425 a month more on food for yourself than my flatmate and I spend for the pair of us!

It's too easy to think of the salary you might be on in 2 years time, in reality if you don't learn to budget properly then you will struggle to live no matter what the size of your salary is.

I think you are rubbing people's noses in it. This has been posted on the benefit board where people earn very little money and have to rely on benefits to get by and get no where near what you get.

I would love to earn your wage, but get about a quarter of what you earn and still manage to save and look after 2 kids.

Listen to what people are telling you, you posted on here for advice but are not listening. With the right attitude you will get a lot of help from here

and you were'nt aware of that before starting work  . What do they teach nowadays

You need to post your SOA (statement of affairs, in-goings and out-goings;) ), possibly on the DFW board. Your rent seems very high, but I live in the north, with a small mortgage, so I've no idea of what the cost of renting in London is.

People will help-if you let them ;)
