But parliamentary security is tight, have you never had the pleasure of queuing for hours at the St Stephen's entrance?

Edit: sorry, I meant slow! There is of course no correlation between speed and efficiency, esp not in government.

All evidence yesterday points to the contrary.

    Not at all.

There is no reason (or, at least there was no reason) to prevent anyone taking either a can of foam or a paper plate into the Palace of Westminster.

A part of a ruthless billionaire business moguls empire is caught breaking the law, hacking the phones of dead murder victims to get a story to sell papers to make even more money for him, bribing police and government to similar ends. As a result the value of his company has dropped by over a £billion.

That same business mogul then closes down the newspaper concerned, gets his chief executive to resign (with a £3.5 million pay off!), takes out full pages ads in every paper to say how sorry he is, goes to say sorry to the Dowlers (making sure all the press are aware and present to record the event), and then telling the commons committee that it is the most humble day of his life!!!

Get real, if you can't see a man who is worried about one thing and one thing only, and that is his business empire, then I give up.

I did not say the man was evil - I said he was a ruthless business man, who's priority was money and power. And that is what has been leading his actions over the last week or so.

Enjoy your life; always seeking to the worst possible interpretation of the the actions of those about you. :(
