Need help to stop other E-bayers losing out!!!

Hi all. Having been lucky enough so far to have never been frauded by anyone on E-bay, I was just looking at some laptops and noticed a guy selling DELL laptops for a bargain price including FREE delivery. As I read further down the listing it really was sounding too good to be true...
AND IT IS!
In some small print at the bottom he explains that you are bidding on a picture of the laptop, not the laptop itself! Unfortunately it seems some people have already bid and its over one hundred pounds! They are going to be very sorry (unless they really want a picture of a laptop!) and upset that they didn't read the listing properly.
Is there anything I can do to help others avoid this trap or is it; in E-bays eyes; perfectly legal because he IS actually stating what you are getting for your money? It just seems very underhand as the rest of the listing is so well presented that you (obviously) get drawn in.
Such a shame that people resort to preying on the lesser, eagle-eyed shoppers out there to make a buck. Just the way things are I suppose.
P.S. - Here's the item if anyone wants to see what I mean for themselves:
Item number: 290066460005

There are the EBay forums which are monitored by EBay admin - if you post your concerns there you may get something done. There are a couple of regular EBay watchers who look out for this sort of thing - it's a regular scam.0

A bit like the xbox that turned up being a box with the letter x on it. I had to giggle!0

Unfortunately it appears EBay have stopped forum users from posting actual listing numbers, so it means, yet again, that they're helping the bad guys get away with it - think the latest bid on this one is £360. The EBay complaints procedure wouldn't chase this one as a violation as the seller has stated the fact it's a picture & not the real thing, even though it's hidden in a load of small print & it's obviously a scam. If this was to happen in the 'real world' trading standards etc. would be involved but because it's EBay we have to put up with it - just goes to show that you mustn't take any EBay sale at face value.0

Can ebay not do something as it is listed under laptops when it should clearly be placed in photographic images .
this in its self raises the flag as a con artist.0 -
Ebay don't care. they will occasionally pay lip service to the notion of caring, but lets be honest if someone buys a picture of a laptop for £300, ebay still get their fees...0

Just bid it up to £999.99 and in the meantime will report them to Ebay . :rotfl:Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

£410 now.shame we cannot contact the sellers to warn them that its the picture not the actually laptop.
all these bidders must have something wrong with there eyes..should go to specsavers
as tthep stated it clearly says pic in the main title0 -
This guy's a nutter.. Obviously he's lost the will to keep his near 99% feedback....0

the only thing you can do is message the winner after the auction finishes and let them know, as the winners ID will then come up...but he could still sell to someone lower down the list as a second chance offer.0
