Received letter 'Notice of Intended Litigation'.

... said sending this prior to proceedings issued in the County Court.

Goes on to say 'In the event ofa Judegement Order not being adhered to we may seek a Warrant of Execution.' ....Baliff attend address and remove goods.'

Still pursuing settlement within 7 days.

    Again not communicated.

It's the usual hollow and meaningless threats. Just keep ignoring these clowns.

Yours are coming from Roxburghe/George White aren't they? They will probably go back to the first one again then start offering a discount soon!

That's about 3 times my PC has done that. When it highlights the name without a capital letter, when I click on it it replaces it with George?????

    Or I am going senile!!!:o

Just ignore these idiots who think you owe them money.

Parking eye = Private Company. They do not have any authority, You are absolutely under no obligation to pay them a penny.

When i received a letter from a Private Parking Company, I simply returned the letter back to sender by writing the following on the unopened envelope,

    No Contract, Return To Sender.

    - I do not recognise you.
    - I do not understand your intent.
    - We Have No CONTRACT.
    - We have no international Treaty.
    - No liability Accepted.
    - No Value Assured.

Worked for me, I haven't heard anything else.

Only ever pay a penalty notice if it was issued by the Police or local council authority, Even then i would suggest paying it in full asap then appealing the decision, I.e a fine from the police or council is backed by the Courts and UK law and can land you in quite abit of trouble should you not pay up !

Never, Ever, Ever ! pay a so called 'fine' from a Private Parking Company (Company names are listed on these forums), As these have absolutely no authority, It is also against the law for a private parking company to use terms such as Penalty, Fine, Penalty Notice etc etc, They can not use 'Legal' Terms to threaten you into paying, What a Private Charge actually is, Is its a invoice, Therefore, Put it into the bin, Doesn't it sicken you that the DVLA are more than happy to supply these cowboys with all your details ? Data Protection my A**e.

I assume you haven't read the sticky info threads at the top of this forum? If not then you've missed the info we were telling you to read when you first came here and you are now worrying about nothing. It's a standard computerised letter we all know about already.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163

The whole letter-chain is there in pictures 'PPC letters' sticky thread at the top. And Watchdog's solicitor's info on what to do if you get a fake PCN is linked to another sticky info thread 'WELCOME, please read before posting'.

The letter-chain preview from people who have been there, done that, and the Watchdog youtube link should surely be enough to convince you and your OH that it is completely safe to ignore and that the whole thing is a scam. To reply or to pay would be like falling victim to a phishing emailer. Try Googling 'Roxburghe private parking' if our sticky threads are not enough info, there are posts on all sorts of forums about these chancers!

I would complain in writing to the gym manager about the harassment, personally, it's like them allowing a protection racket to go on in their name. But obviously do not contact the PPC nor Roxburghe (Graham White letters also come from Roxburghe, not from any solicitor, Roxburghe just use the name).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The notice of intended litigation was from Michael Sobell - at Graham White Solicitors. I was posting the thread for moral support as I have read all the threads including the standard letters Parking Eye, Roxburghe, Graham White issue.

Thanks again for the support to ignore all communication.

As you have also probably realised although you have a letter purporting to come from Mr Sobell (he's well into his 70's, btw) it has actually come from exactly the same person who sent you the letters from Roxburghe's. Roxburghe's simply "rent" the use of Mr Sobell's name and press a different button to print the "solicitor" letters out.

Roxburghe's debt collectors are currently under investigation by the Office of Fair Trading and been told that their debt collection licence may be revoked.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
