Before I bought the LG a few months back I had a Creda (which was Hotpoint) Machine that my Dad bought us when we moved in the house, 15 years ago!
I was gutted when it died, it did however make me realise how completely inefficient it was by todays standards.
  • I'm with you on that one:o It is like night and day compared to my heap of crap Hotpoint i had previously:)

Haha, those were my exact thoughts :) 6 hours to dry some undies...I knew it was on its last legs, but compared to the Miele even new it couldn't have competed :)

One word of warning about Miele, if you live in a flat and dont have a lift they are UNBELIEVABLY heavy!!!

Our lift was broken the day they delivered my Miele and delivery guys refused to take it upstairs.
Now my hubby is a very strong guy, he single handedly carried our old washing machine down 3 flights of stairs. He struggled to move the new machine! Phoned his even bigger mate and they humped and heaved it up the stairs with a lot of huffing and puffing and a few choice words:rotfl:

My Miele was a hell of a lot lighter than the hotpoint it replaced....

I do 2 - 3 loads per DAY!!! and the Miele is fantastic!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
