Can I get sacked for this?

I am allowed to express an opinion which is what I did. If nobody expressed an opinion this would become a very boring board! But thanks for your view.
i was refering to the "poo head" remark the OP put on facebook and that it should be kept to himself and the reply was also in reference to what you sad about Forwandert devoting time and effort to get a person dismissed.0 -
oh ok my bad. lol. perhaps make that clearer next time though0

This is evidence which you may have grounds to challenge. Establish the purpose of the cctv as its normally there to detect and deter crime, not to snoop on employees.
Who says?
It's for whatever purpose they want it for.
Drawing a cartoon of Mr poohead on the wall is a sacking offence if there is video evidence.
Or do you come from the approach that you won't let your employer install CCTV in case it catches you doing something you shouldn't?
They don't HAVE to employ people that are no use to them, or cause problems. The job comes first, not yakking and social networking.
How many of you recall when you could smoke at work? When some people had a cigarette on the go whilst they worked, and others who used to stop work every time they had a cigarette?
Some employees take the mick.0 -
I have no idea whether Mr Poo Head will sack you or not but I've always had a personal 'rule' and that's never to have work colleagues as friends on Facebook. I had lots of real life friends where I used to work but they only became Facebook friends once I'd left.
I used to have a Mrs Poo Head as a boss and could rant away about her to my heart's delight on FB as no one on there knew her. There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0 -

depends if anyone else has seen it eg management and anyone else you work with, in future id not make comments about anyone at work on facebook OR change your privacy settings OR remove people you work with from FB,
i do remember a person got fired from her job for something she said on facebook, this is 1 story, there are others but you would need to search google for them0 -

Why don't you just delete the comment from your f/b page? Then, have a cull of your f/b contacts and remove anyone who you work with. Also avoid making stupid derogatory remarks about colleagues - especially in writing. Finally, when you've done all that, you can stop worrying about such a daft thing to have done, and move on. !!!!!ing about the boss isn't a wise move at the best of times anywhere outside of the privacy of your own home, with your nearest and dearest. As long as they're not also the boss, you should be fine with that policy!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

My advice? You need to grow up if you want to hold onto a grown up's job.
Why discuss work matters on Facebook anyway? You obviously know the risks.:hello:0
