HELP - The rain is threatening to ruin a BIG day.

I am planning on proposing to my girlfriend out on the boating lake in Regents Park, London on Monday but the rain is threatening to wreck it all, I know I'm stupid not to have a back up plan in place but this is why I am here now. I need an indoor alternative that is equally discrete and romantic, which is also relatively cheap (I feel so so cheap =\).
Thanks in advance!

I just slapped my OH's ar-se and grunted "marry us love and I'll buy ye dinner".
I got my takeaway Chinese and everyone was happy.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Bless. Why change your plans? With blankets and brollies could be ace - and at least no-one would be listening!
Good luck. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Don't worry about the rain, just take a huge brolly.
IMO the rain can be very romantic and fun.0 -

Been sat refreshing the page desperately and the first reply was this? Worth a laugh I guess.0 -

She hates the rain, hence the desperation haha, thanks though.0 -
I guess it could be any time in the day, anyone aware of any romantic bars or restaurants for persons on a budget?0

How about afternoon tea at the Ritz?
I sympathise with your GF, I hate the rain too. My hair goes frizzy and my fringe blows everywhere.
I hope she says YES!0 -

It's not cheap though.
How about under the T Rex in the Natural History Museum? That was free last time I went.0 -

Haha, well here's the snag, SHE ALREADY KNOWS! (through no fault of my own, through her using my facebook to send herself gifts on Frontierville, and seeing something she shouldn't be seeing). The only thing secret is how, when and where.
At least I know she's gonna say yes =].
Isn't the Ritz a bit pricey?0
