On there they do assume that an answer is what you think... whereas my answers were more along the lines of "O...K.... er.... have to pick one ... which one ... er ...... that'll do"

£9 per booking as oposed to £8 per person per direction sounds like I good saving to me. It is all just numbers anyway, only the total price makes any odds in the end whether it is called 'flight price' or 'off with the fairies fee'.
Good work govt. easyjet won't charge a card fee of £8, it will charge an admin of £9. A victory for transparency. Consumers will be celebrating in the streets.

Not as bad as when they made the premier league sell half the match rights to itv digital or setanta or whoever it was, but sky's prices stayed the same so it got 100% more expensive to watch the same football matches.

God I hate the govt, it's hard enough being screwed by the corporate world without some idiots making it even worse.

A disappointing 17 on the science quiz. :(
    I think....

I got 18/20, go me. I would have got 19/20 if I had read the question about the number of stars in the solar system properly instead of thinking it was asking about the galaxy.

Also, the answer for pathogen is wrong if you ask me (and even if you didn't) - as a pathogen by definition must cause disease. Not all micro-organisms are pathogens...

Edit: I particularly enjoyed the "Dr Nicholas Riviera" option for the lung transplant!

    13/20 with a few guesses.

Based on the principle of making a guess and then not changing it unless you realise an error. People often change their first guess just because they know they are guessing so think they must be wrong.

    Any NP used genesreunited?

I did a quick search that was free and it came up with 3 people of the same name who could possibly be my great-grandfather. So I composed a message to them and it said I had to upgrade to paid member to send the message. Is it safe? Is it worth it?

Yes, I am. Yes, it is. Depends, really - do you want me to send it for you?

  • I thinks it's interesting idea that you don't want to reveal your name or meet with peor who you have chatted to almost daily for years, but would give this information to people who might share genes. For me the safety consciousness in both are kinda similar. In fact, one could even argue contact between relatively close strands of a family might have been dropped for a reason:eek:

My Granny found that she had three first cousins she'd never known existed, from a similar site.

Her mother's younger brother had taken black sheep-dom to a ridiculous extent, and had had a wife and 3 children in South Africa that he never got round to mentioning.
