    Any NP used genesreunited?

I did a quick search that was free and it came up with 3 people of the same name who could possibly be my great-grandfather. So I composed a message to them and it said I had to upgrade to paid member to send the message. Is it safe? Is it worth it?

I thinks it's interesting idea that you don't want to reveal your name or meet with peor who you have chatted to almost daily for years, but would give this information to people who might share genes. For me the safety consciousness in both are kinda similar. In fact, one could even argue contact between relatively close strands of a family might have been dropped for a reason:eek:

Edit read that back and it sounds critical, it wasn't Written with critism head on, just comparative situation for you own safety threshold!

I dislike cooking with the pets about, it's unhygienic. But sometimes, when it's just me and Dh eating the food I will. Pink whistley likes to sit on my shoulder and monitor stuff I'm doing when she is about. But tonight she's ridiculously obsessed with it. I was just trying to make a raspberry sauce and she was climbing up my leg and back, while I worked at the job, so I put a chair behind me, thinking that would keep her content, but she stood, purring wildly and little front legs hanging on, tail up like a brush, kneading my back...my cats do not knead a lot, and wailing...she has a very loads Siamese voice. As I left the kitchen she rushed at me and attached her self to lower back and backside, like a Velcro thing, claws digging in for security of attachment.

Cats are cool . But cats are never cute. Cats are fierce predators that would conquer the world, if it weren't for the fact God has not given them opposable thumbs. But eventually, they will work out a way to get them. Then the world should watch out.

Anyway, on another note, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_MaJDK3VNE .

Good work govt. easyjet won't charge a card fee of £8, it will charge an admin of £9. A victory for transparency. Consumers will be celebrating in the streets.

Not as bad as when they made the premier league sell half the match rights to itv digital or setanta or whoever it was, but sky's prices stayed the same so it got 100% more expensive to watch the same football matches.

God I hate the govt, it's hard enough being screwed by the corporate world without some idiots making it even worse.

Oh, sometimes they are cute. Mine like to sleep on my arms, in the sort of position a woman sleps on a man. There little sleeping faces close to mine, and there dreams inducing squeals and running and just beautiful.

Mauve squeaker has also developed quite a cute habit, she has started stroking my face in bed.....very cute.

Even those intent on world domination are cute to their mothers and spouses I guess.

My cat is just incredibly stupid.....but also very well trained.

He knows my routine so well, that when I lock the front door, he gets ready on the bottom step of the stairs and then runs up in front of me so he can get into the bedroom first (and nick the space where I want to put the laptop case).

We decided to have some fun with him the other day, I locked the door and pretended to start to go up stairs...he duly shot up the stairs, stopped dead when he realised I hadn't followed and then almost jumped down the stairs again....we did it about 5 times and he still didn't twig we were having him on.

He is not a cuddle cat though, he just likes to sit close and is a very vocal cat (his mum was siamese) unlike my not long departed older cat (a complete mix), she loved contact but couldn't meow and was deaf in one ear and blind in one eye....my original cat (part siamese) hated people apart from me, she would snarl and scratch anyone who came close to her but she would drape herself around my neck and quite happily go to sleep....but you could only cuddle her if it was her choosing. She also had a variety of weird and wonderful noises and movements, the vets decided she was more siamese than heinz 57.

Current cat loves people though, he gets stressed if he does not have human contact for a longish time, not the stroking but being spoken to although he does like a bit of a fuss and will drive you crazy if you try to ignore him and will eventually just stand on the book you are reading or get in the way of the view of the TV and stick his head onto your cheek, meowing loudly until you give him fuss.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

She's a funny person for tastes. Her favourite foods include very sweet melon, broccoli, poppadoms and crisps ( which obviously we hide from her), as we also hide marshmallows. She also likes raw meat etc....but she has very broad Uncas like tastes. The other one adores citrus, but is otherwise more conventional in her tastes. Oh, she likes kids too, she is great with my friends toddler, and Lydia's daughter carried her around a lot of the day and the cat was perfectly happy with that.
