... we don't own the paddock the bend and the corner surround...
I have a friend who owns a dairy farm on a small island off the North West coast... he is an alcoholic and was banned from driving. Luckily for him, he owned every field between him and the pub, so he used to drive his tractor across his fields to the pub, without going on the roads.

:) I always say I only had six driving lessons...which is true, but I'd been driving by trial and error on private fields for five years or so before those six lessons :D (cars, tractors, trailers and lorries!)

You've probably failed the Diversity & Inclusion Test .... as the question wasn't clear to somebody with ASD.

You bad person...... I notice it also wasn't provided in braille or 147 other languages. Nor were instructions provided as to how the question could be provided in large type for the visually impaired.

TBH I'm not sure the question is going to be obvious to anybody-it does take a wee bit of thinking about and the answer is a bit satisfying and crafty.

Just realised it's made of words and therefore unreadable to our many younger NPs (whomsoever they may be) so I went to the
translate everything so young people can read it website

Grown-ups, don't look below - this isn't meant ot be seen by anyone with wisdom teeth!

xbo puzzle (if you’re ^ 4 it). n a r%m there’s 10 lRg sacks fiLD w identical coins, Xcpt 1 sack hz forged insted of genuine ones.

Mood-lightening time! Let’s change the subject from car accidents.
Christmas puzzle (if you’re up for it). In a room there’s many sacks filled with identical coins, except one sack has forged instead of genuine ones.
If you identify the fakes you get a huge reward. The fakes are really good but are a different weight compared with the real ones (say they’re 11 instead of 10g)- and you know this.
There’s an accurate weighing machine that you can put any amount of coins or sacks on - but it can only work once (it can’t weigh anything accurately after you’ve used it once).
How can you identify the sack of fakes? You can ask any questions about the sacks or coins and I can give a yes or no answer.
And no cheating – can’t look it up on the internet (New Mexico anybody)? :D

I don't know if someone has already answered this, but [edit:] ooops deleted as saw a comment about PM'ing.

It didn't take very long at all to solve, which makes me think I must have seen the answer at some time in the past, although I have no recollection of that - must be getting older!

I love how guys are setting puzzles a tthe same time as I'm trying to work out timings for staged precooking, daily cooking, defrosting etc.

Right now I have supper for the 27th in the oven, and tonights winter soltice meal to go in the oven. Boxing days supper (we're not having turkey this year, but roast beef, so pickings and left ovewrs will be less fun and a bit simpler and need warm augmentation) is done and frozen. I have marked my calandar with what to defrost when and what gets cooked fresh and when...so instead of drinks with x and y on the calander thats been done by asterisk while the box is filled with ''get beef out of freezer''...

Son returned from uni, with incredible amount of work to do. Both demand to be woke. Early to work, so why are they still asleep?

Each time elder comes home it is lovely to watch their interaction, wary at first, jostling for position/status. Younger trying to appear as grown up as possible, seeking snippets of approval from elder. Elder making approving comments this time so peace ensues. Today elder will want younger to sort out all his tech irks that he can't manage, much to our amusement.

The novely will wear off and there will be arguments about the tv, playstation, noisy friends in the house, food.....

Well done, GDB2222- like me you probably watched way too many TV movies on the telly in the 70s. I'm not sure that's how we should have spent the 70s but never mind!

Thank goodness the Wayback Machine doesn't keep old versions of our little part of the internet.

The puzzle was in an episode of a TV Mystery Movie series in the 70s. McMillan and Wife/McCloud/Columbo etc.- that sort of thing ;)
