My Mum is fertilizing the hillside near Longleat, along with my Dad.
I suppose I could get them a season ticket, but they've been freeloading successfully there since 2006, without being caught. :cool:0 -

I've heard they decay rather quickly, but perhaps if you put some of those crystals in the water....;)0 -

On which course, go for the best course and uni (like DS's DD) and stay in halls first year.
I do know a lot of arts students went to Brighton as it's such an amazing place to live but some I knew wished they'd gone to the top London one instead. They also couldn't stay there when they finished (as many tried to) as the work just isn't there for that sector....so they had to move to London anyway.
My course was in Croydon and equivalent to a degree but was a new diploma and HND at the time over 3 years. Croydon was quite a raw place but quite good for inspiration (you need some pain and grey to create sometimes). My then tutor now heads a post grad course at a London one.0 -
...not me, I am only 2 or 3 years younger than you I think.:)

....And I finished uni (late) in 1973!
DD couldn't go into halls, as they only exist for overseas students, and anyway, she had a ferret to cater for too.
She got to live with two blokes, though.0 -

* = strictly speaking, not a single word of this sentence is in any way true.
I was the other way round - halls in my first year, then moved in with 2 blokes for a houseshare in my second year.
One of those blokes was not at the time, but shortly afterwards became, my dearly beloved. That was 13 years ago....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
