Someone just bumped an Inspector Monkfish thread and I was wondering if there was any news of him and Daisy. I noticed he hasn't been on for about six months so there must be a lot going on in his life. I'm thinking of him and his family. Any news?

  • PN, so sorry to hear that. Is it mental confusion, which might resolve? Or physical?

we are childish, selfish and temperamental....I think its all quite apt. My mother, sister and I are all fire signs and either get on like a , well, house on fire, or can't be n the same room.

The Daisy Palmer Trust facebook page is full of fundraising and photos of Daisy in her adapted wheelchair smiling at lots of events, so I'm hoping things are going well.

    Any NP interested in astrology?

I'm Virgo, what signs are the NP?

I'm the sign that didn't used to believe in it, but has a friend who writes astrology reports for kindle, and having seem how much money is in it is now reconsidering their beliefs and considering seeing the light:D

I don't really believe in Astrology tomterm8, but I've just googled what you said about your friend and your willingness to follow, and "the stars say" that tomterm8 should be a sagittarius (not even sure whether that is the correct spelling). So if you are, there could be something in it, and if you are one of the 11, it's clearly a bag of b*****cks.

I am not sagittarius , so either astrology is a load of b*****cks, or in the alternative google is a load of b****cks, both of which are quite possible.

And in spite of beliefs about mystical astrology, I'm sure at the commercial end both are based on algorithms!

Message broadly for jelly, but also for anyone else who's interested.

Jelly suggested reading Dan Ariely, and I went on to watch both of his books. Can't remember who, but someone on the board suggested watching "The Flaw", about the flaw Greenspan discovered in the financial system. I've finally got round to watching the Flaw this afternoon, and it features Dan Ariely throughout the programme. So people interested in reading the book, may also be interested in watching the programme.
