Trying to decide whether its worth selling a newish plastic il tank too, or keeping it, cleaning it out and using it to make our own plant food!!
List it on eBay0 -

Yeah, I was going to suggest ebay, but I really have no idea what it is worth (don't even know what a new one costs ). IIRC, ebay often has deals where you can list stuff with a low reserve for free.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Every so often, I sprinkle it with talc and leave it to absorb stuff, and then shake it enthusiastically.
My gown is dry-cleaned from time to time.
I worked on a case with a QC who must have been in his 70s at the very least. He had clearly never cleaned his wig either. It looked like it has been used in lieu of a toilet brush for several decades. I didn't get close enough to smell it.
He promised to burn his wig if we lost the case. Two mistrials and an acquittal later, he still appears to be practising...0 -
It is windy out there, even in the soft south
Eldest is about to get on a plane to fly to Geneva, visiting C.E.R.N. for his A Level Physics.
If this wind keeps up he won't need the Large Hadron Collider to prove that you can travel faster than the speed of light 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
Well I guess you can look at sold prices on ebay - also how apart farm specific publications (assuming the value when fixed is high enough to justify the cost of the add. Final suggestion how about finding a dealer of reconditioned power generators and see if they want to make you an offer?lostinrates wrote: »Just incase NP's know....where should I advertise a tractor powered generator and at what price with a slightly broken but repairabe drive shaft?

Thank you very much NDG - Nice People are the best, you ask some random question on a very specific issue and get chapter and verse from a renowned counsel...now if anyone has any specific questions on the home office bureaucracy relating to the criminal justice system or staff rostering at airports, please don't hesitate to askneverdespairgirl wrote: »See above. I do immigration (-: Of course, I can't and won't give legal advice directly to the publi. So this is just random musings.
First question - might she still have the right to abode (RTA)? That's the starting point. If she does (and it would be worth investigating her immigration history to make sure) then that would be by far the easiest way to do it.
Re Right to abode - latest UKBA website seems to suggest that you only have the right to return if you have been out of the country for less than 2 years?I think....0 -
You can get help on here from Techie Forum, or if you think that's too public you could try the site 'Bleeping Computer.'
When this happened to me, I contacted Malwarebytes, which I use (free) and one of their techies held my hand through the clean-up process. He was brilliant and never seemed to sleep.
My computer was so messed-up I couldn't run any anti malware programs, as the bug closed them all down & denied access. It also redirected Google searches. It was a total pain, and I'm still not sure how it got in.
I surf in a Sandboxed environment now, just in case....;)
I think if I got in that state I would just reload Windows from scratch, although not entirely foolproof it more or less spring cleans your software. I have never really sussed that sandboxie thingy but I have always fancied doing it for bank accounts.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. It's scary how malware now knows exactly where to hide. I had stuff hiding in the encryption software for my banking password vault.
I was pleased I'd made a duplicate vault on an encrypted USB stick, so I could just annihilate the one on the computer.
How did you know it was there?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
taste reference.
I'm guessing I should keep sense of humour away from fittings? This tap is hilarious....http://www.p-wholesale.com/cn-pro/17/149to1/bathroom-faucet-145692.html0
