    I've been Money Tipped!
Just incase NP's know....where should I advertise a tractor powered generator and at what price with a slightly broken but repairabe drive shaft?

Trying to decide whether its worth selling a newish plastic il tank too, or keeping it, cleaning it out and using it to make our own plant food!!

Could be worse, though, according to yahoo news, as I type this, I'm told they are closing schools down in parts of scotland, due to the 100 miles an hour gusts.

That's what I'm right in the middle of as we speak.

All the schools are closed in my region.

Are you talking about the economy, or the weather?;)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Ouch, well good luck, hope you stay safe :)

Up until yesterday, we still had leaves on the trees. Now, not so much :(

Um. Couldn't you ask an immigration question instead?

    20,000 or thereabouts for me.

BTW, for those envying me the Sydney summer, don't bother. It's rained every day for 2 weeks just about and it'll rain every day for the next week too. So far it's the coldest start to summer for 50 years.

In contrast I haven't had to put the heating on once yet.

ebay. If you're brave enough, start it at 99p with no reserve. It never fails to get me decent price for stuff that's worth stuff.

(and a friendly friend to win it just in case it really does sell for 99p. I've only done that once and it turned out the thing was actually worthless after all, it went in a skip. Getting 99p for it would have saved a lot of time and effort in the end.)

I have never had it cleaned.

Every so often, I sprinkle it with talc and leave it to absorb stuff, and then shake it enthusiastically.

My gown is dry-cleaned from time to time.
