I think sharing is underated. I wouldn't hve thought that as a teen though. In retrospect learning to hare space is a good lifeskill.
BUT, there is nothing to say a tasteful decorated teen girls bedroom can't be used by guests temporarily while the girls are asked to share one room on a temporary basis. Unless you have guests for more than a couple of months a year. Its sleepovers and having space to be alone with friends that's a bigger issue with shared rooms from I remember of sharing friends in their family homes.0 -

Growing up, I had the biggest bedroom (apart from my parents' room). It was the lodger's room until I was judged to be too big to share with one or other of my brothers, and then it became mine, on condition that I vacated it whenever it was needed for guests.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

On the subject of sharing a bedroom... When I was a kid, we had two double bedrooms and a box room. Parents obviously had one, the other one my brother and I would share between us, a year each. Between Christmas and New Year every year we would have the bedroom swap. Both had wardrobe/drawers and single bed in, so furniture didn't need moving, just all our stuff. The rooms were both painted a neutral colour, but the windows were the same size, so curtains, duvet covers, posters, etc came across with us to personalise. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? In our previous house, the boys had bedrooms 3 & 4. bedroom 4 was smaller but had the advantage of a sink. Bedroom 2 was a decent sized double, left available for guests. We decided on 2 single beds (one collapses and fits under the other, though has a proper mattress) when unoccupied provided good floor space for toys that could be left out for days.
In this house I thought it would be more difficult, but the younger was enthralled by the idea of having a balcony, so took bedroom 3, leaving the elder delighted to have his own en-suite with bedroom 2. (Though effectively, the younger one has sole use of the family bathroom). Neither rooms are laid out in a way that would make it easy to have a spare bed. What tends to happen is that anyone having a friend to sleep over decamps to bedroom 4 with the mate. Bedroom 4 has the 2 singles still as the official spare bedroom.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. A new Expresso machine, needs a full tank of water run through it 4 or 5 times.
Make sure the water has heated properly before starting.
After that run 1 or 2 cups through it before you start.
Make sure it is hot.
Make sure all the bits n bobs are hot.
Use a proper Expresso coffee.
Make sure it is tramped down well.
Make sure the cup is warm before use.
Press "play"
P.S. Don't bother with Coffee pods. Also make sure you are using the correct coffee filter, if you use a pod one with real coffee, or visa versa it won't work properly.
No wonder there's people that doubt we could really have landed people on the moon.
If it's that complicated and difficult to just make a nice cup of coffee how the heck would we have managed interplanetary travel in an era before computers!

I've never possessed a coffee machine!
we have a stove top style coffee maker. It just make espresso but e can turn that into anything else. Very personally, I'd rther spend money on the nicest beans i could buy regularly and a grinder and use our stove top thing.
I can see the appeal for busier people though, on a rushed morning.0 -

Yes.
My Nespresso is very simple to use, (even a Hollywood actor can manage it), but ever since HID decided to "clean" it  I have had to resort to the time consuming machine.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

I was going to get a coffee pod machine but been told they weren't that good and that the pods were more expensive, hence plumping for the gaggia.
Not sure it was a good choice now we have to send it back.
Feeling v grumpy esp with things not working, having a cold and having to stay at home tomorrow to babysit the handyman.
