Eta: I thought the place name was really funny. I'm not sure whether this is because a) I've never grown up or b) because I used to love Father Ted. A bit of both probably.

Quite exited about the prep work here that starts next week. The annoying thing is we are paying for stuff we could have done had the whole office moving saga not cropped up.

yes, it is a little bit. But then, its not as expensive as a huge tv and its something we will use a lot. I used to play ''before'' an though I have found it pretty depressing since trying to corordinate to play and also I struggle now reading music, dh plays, and lots of our friends play..so evenings often gravitate towards the intruments. I suppose its no different to blokes who play computer games with chums.

DG used to live next door to the pub shock!!!

Today they are fixing plywood over the screed in the new half of the kichen and knockin gout the fire place from the front lounge before putting ply and then tiles in the front room and entrance hall - I think these last two were the only two 'untouched' rooms in the house although come to think of it the box roomwhich is temporarily being the girls bedroom is 'untouched' except it now has the girls bunkbed etc.

Our old house is up for sale. That's the last house we bought that was bought and chosen specifically to be our 'home'. We sold it 6 years ago. It's not a terrace, it's a semi; they've got that wrong. And it wasn't a cobbler's cottage either. It has two door numbers. The very front was a cobblers shop, deserted before the war. It was derelict and we had to get Listed Building consent to knock though to make the kitchen area and the walkway into the dressing bit at the front. One of the windows at the front is in a cupboard! We extended the back as well to make the snug and bathroom.

DD was born where the rug is in the living room :D Nothing has changed that I can see. They even have the same sofas that we had! I even planted the clematis on the front from a tiny little pot.

Is it just me or does the name of this dish sound like something out of Monty Python?

It looks like it would be delish but the name is a little off-putting!

I'd always believed I could eat anything that didn't eat me first, but my appetite threw in the towel when I read that dish's title!

I think some of the NP might know this

I have just bought a Gaggia Classic as a birthday present and we live in a hard water area. Is it worth descaling or shall I get something to purify the water?
This NP has no idea whatsoever what type of product that could even be ....

PN I assumed it was a coffee maker, about which I know zero. The gaggia I want is an icecream maker. Myparents had two of them, both were damaged by the vodka that the machine requires. I can understand an appliance that operates on vodka.
