Good story. Indeed, anything putting the boot into the sun/murdoch is a good thing.:)

I love Amazon too. Though my use has gone down dramatically since I started working at a library. About mid-November I'll start using it for most of my Christmas shopping. I generally only need to go to the shops for about 4 things. Wonderful. I love shopping online.

    Michaels you was right!

None are really interested in going to Disney on Ice...the journey there yes, the show no.

So goodness knows what to do with the tickets now! I did ask my sister if she wanted them but she can't make it either.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ashamed to say I've never been to Scotland.

As for me, I've never been to Northern Ireland (well apparently once as a child but I've no memory of it!).

When at a friend's funeral back in Scotland, we were reminiscing about his life, and it occurred to us we weren't sure he'd ever been to England (always holidayed in Spain and flown from Scotland). We couldn’t remember him ever visiting anywhere he couldn’t fly to from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Prestwick. Built up a big career in Law and had no business in England, or family there for that matter. Despite repeatedly playing the host for visitors and receiving invites he never came south for a visit.

Seems strange to live in one of the few multinational states and not visit the other nations! :o

Would you be interested in having them? I haven't received them here yet but could post them onto you if you would like.

Thanks everyone for your concern, DS is fine now (sometimes his breathing is a bit noisy but that is probably me being over sensitive) Also although it is still freezing it is less windy to feels less cold inside, those who like their houses cold would probably find it tropical as it is. Luckily they have knocked the electricity usage display sensor off the wire next to the fuse box so I can't see just how much electricity we are using with 3x2kw electric heaters and electric immersion to heat the water

Have you sorted out your Skype problem? My parents have been away for just over a week and we don't seem to have managed to catch up on Skype yet.

dh is calling me via gmail for 2 p a minute or something. Its a reasonable compromise for the time being. Better by far than mobile bills!

Its 9 degrees in the kitchen here :(. I'm looking forward to being tucked up in bed. The dogs are still warm enough, and the cats are coping (they have an electric blanket on now) but the hedgehog tried to hibernate earlier I think.....

If I were not being stubborn I would have lit the woodburner this evening. It is most certainly cold enough! :) Next week I'll swap the blanket I have out on the sofa for a duvet and start putting dog dogs pyjamas on her. :o

If had been a very good girl this year ''boiler'' would certainly be going on my father christmas list!:rotfl::rotfl:
