I'm having to do loads of extra hours at work at the mo (I still keep meaning to post about stuff in t'other place).
However, got home last night, & whilst watering/feeding my toms (by torchlight - am I sad?) I believe I have the first one turning red!:jIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Very funny lir. After the below 2 posts from yesterday, you ladys are vulgar!
I like it!:DDS made a 3D rocket at school out of the usual cardboard tubes and yoghurt pots and things. It is red, and also has two rocket boosters at one end. He is very proud of it because it won second prize in the class competition, but I'm afraid my thoughts on seeing it were much the same as your thoughts about Isaac's plate.neverdespairgirl wrote: »For my birthday, Isaac painted a plate for me, which was then fired and given to me. I've had to put it somewhere subtle, as everyone who looks at it does a double-take.
it's a pink rocket. With two round booster rockets at one end....It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
It is a friday. After an exceedingly long week, I am tired. All my colleagues around me are tired. & most of us are miserable & grouchy today.
I'm working at my 2nd job tomorrow & sunday, & have a bowls match tonight. So if I don't log in next week, I'm probably still asleep.;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I'm blessed with two drop-dead gorgeous sisters. My brother's OK too. But every family needs a plain member!
Isaac definitely got all my family's good looking genes - and not any of OH's in colouring, at least. My family's all fair haired and blue eyes, OH is pretty dark.
I wont quote your pictures in case you decide to delete them.
Is that you with Isaac?
I didn't really assume your avatar was you but it's always nice to put a face to a name. :beer:0 -

its that time of year, isn't it? I used to think it was to do with new academic years, but it still happens....that autumn dip in energy when you seem to have to do a lot but have to drag yourself around. DH is certainly saying he wants to get away early today to come home and sleep.0 -

He'd be so lucky - no sleeping allowed until he has got through your list of 'treats'...lostinrates wrote: »its that time of year, isn't it? a few treats always adds to the quality of sleep, don't you think?
In fact, treat number one is plumbing in the washing machine, because I wan't to do it but can't bend over atm for giddyness, so have had to wait.
I think I'm going to get a tumble dryer today too...so we can play laundry for a while.
do those spiky balls do anything...are they worth getting?0 -
