LIR, you asked if my Mama had made Isaac a cake for his birthday party - a pic, below, of the Thomas the tank engine cake she made for him, plus carriages:

That's a lovely cake NDG. Isaac must have been thrilled.

It's a cloudless and bright, sunny day here.... like yesterday which was a bit of a scorcher in the afternoon.

Sunny, blue, summer skies.... but at 6am there was a hint of a colder start, reminding me that winter will be here soon :(

Whereas yesterday I succumbed around about 6pm - 12 degreees and still raining hard - and put the heating on (I know it is still August and therefore just plain wrong but...)

Cold and wet here. Yesterday was cold and wet. Tomorrow is forecast to be cold and wet. Sunday? Cold and wet.

I blame the bankers. And Ars**al FC. Goat botherers the lot of 'em.

I don't mind when the weather's bad in England. Of course the weather's bad there, everyone knows that. Over here it feels like a personal affront.

    He was very chuffed indeed.

    Amazing!

When my eldest was little I tried to make his birthday cakes. At about the age of 5 he identified a cake that was meant to be of his favourite teddy as a cat. Since then he chose a cake at Tesco.

    Discussion on holiday recently.

If you wake up and its foggy - that is fog.

If you look up at the mountain and it is covered in cloud - that is cloud.

But if you were up the mountain, you would call it fog.

So when does cloud become fog?
