yesterday:
began with an ''overdose'' (nomral for me) of magnesium, calcium and iron w/vit c and halfalitre of water.
Then coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee and coffee. (undoing all the good work of the morning)
Couple of greengages from tree, raspberries (about four ripe), few alpine strawbs throughout the day.
Supper was squid ink pasta and a nibble of camambert.
Not a very healthy day, but I was tired. (predictably because I was so wired by bed time dh and I stayed up till about 2 anyway, I said I needed the radio to sleep and as soon as he turned it off I zonked out!)
Today:
no pills because have run out of magnesium/calcium. So, so far a coffee. Instead of breakfast I went back to bed (I know, its dreadful) for 45 mins. Now dh is having a huge piece of apple cake.
I have no idea what we'll have later, but it will almost certainly involve courgettes!0 -
Breakfast today so far, Barocca and Ibuprofen.
May have to resort to a Red Bull and greasy fry-up shortly.
Great night......
Suffering for it today though“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
-- President John F. Kennedy”0 -

This comment off a United forum made me smile.'Scholes looks so reluctant to have his arm lifted. Pele did well to get it up'.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
