Ds had a huge huge meltdown last night, nothing triggered it but it was awful :( A whole bowl of weetabix chucked across the room all over the wall and the carpet, my best mixing bowl smashed on the floor :(, his room trashed etc etc ... once he calmed down he was sobbing his heart out and just kept saying he doesn't want to see his dad anymore, he hates going there etc etc ... He is like this each time he comes back from his now, usually at school but this time I got the brunt of it at home :(

This morning he is lovely again and very apologetic.

After school we're going to see Dad (haven't seen him for 10 days) and will see Mr S for a bit while i'm there although we've both said it needs to be a visit to see dad not him. I also need to go and collect a parcel and then have a good tidy up and clean up tonight as Mr S is coming over tomorrow after school :D I also have a next vip slot tomorrow evening, so I need to work out what I might like to buy :)

    Not so good.
I think your DS is sending a fairly strong message about what he wants.
I think you need to keep a diary of what he says & does in relation to his dad.
    Photos of what he does.
Then you have evidence if you deceide to go down the route of your DS not seeing his dad on the grounds that it is depramental to his mental health.
    JUst my thoughts :)

Sorry DS had a meltdown, but maybe it's best it was at home. Could you get the doctor to back you up about DS's mental health suffering?

It is very hard for kids with Aspergers to express their feelings in appropriate ways. I know if it was my son I would be fighting for him not to have to make the visit. I understand it is difficult for you as his father is so unsupportive and I am on ly expressing my opinion, not telling you what you should do.

Sorry, I'm not doing very well at updating at the moment am I :o:o Another fab weekend here, Mr S changed his shifts so had the weekend off at the last minute, we took the kids to see the Olympic torch in Bournemouth on friday night then out for dinner, then I had a wedding all day saturday while he looked after the kids, then today we took them to the ski centre followed by McDonalds. He went home at about 7.

One final week at school to go, will be glad when its out the way :)

Finally the last day of term has arrived :j :j It's been a hectic week, school finishes at 3 today and the car has its mot at 4.30, it had better pass :o:o

Off out tonight for drinks with work mates, bbq tomorrow at a friends house, then mr s is round on sunday, and then visiting another friend on monday. Haven't thought much further ahead than that just yet :)
