That's a good idea - you can always pay any extra in to the mortgage pot to make up what you've taken when you've got it. I had to do this last month when I had so many car repairs to pay except it was off money I had allocated to pay off my credit card.

Still, it was a relief to be in a position to shuffle the money around in this way.

Been to see Dad, now trying to find the enthusiasm to list stuff on ebay, 3 items done so far but its just *such* a dull task :o 3 other items I was going to list are currently halfprice in Boots so not much opint at the moment, I'll hang on to them for a bit longer and try again.

Spends today = £7.50 on cereal, milk, bread, choccy at tesco express.

BenBen, could I please pick your brains? I have just sold my first ever item on Eb*y, and I am all of a dither. Its a cd, and with the new postage charges coming in tomorrow, I have no idea how many stamps to put on it. I am totally confused, read RM website, but don't have any scales so no idea how much it weighs, I think I will need a large G&T to steady my nerves!

Umm, I tend to always guess my postage I'm afraid :o Can you not get to a post office tomorrow to get it checked? At least that way you also get proof of postage so if it doesn't arrive the buyer can claim back from the post office?

Until today I used to pay 87p to send a CD second class (never bother with first class myself), I would just put it in a large envelope and selotape it around to size. Maybe £1 would be enough now? Hope this helps!

Benben creeps in having just bought 3 dresses on ebay :o:o
Total price inc p&p came to £24 so not too bad really, 2 are summer dresses for holiday, one is a gorgeous one from Coast that will hopefully do for the wedding in May and the prom in June. If not, it will go back on ebay and we'll try again :)

DD and I both entered this morning too - unlikely that even one of us will get a place, yet alone both of us, but she wants to do a Mother/Daughter marathon so we'll give it a go.
