Hi Benben, life is tough enough sometimes just plodding along, and then someone throws a spanner in the works and knocks you off balance. Bah! perhaps she also fancies Cutie and is jealous of your friendship? Do you have any experience of Mus*c M*gpie? I am sat amongst a huge pile of cds, dvds and games and they have offered £50 for them. My boy wants to put the money towards the new Liverpool kit, they are all his, I wonder if I would have better luck on Eb*y?

I looked into Mus1c Magp1e a few months ago and have heard bad things about them - you send the CDs in and they say they won't pay what they said because the box is damaged/CD scratched etc.

I've sold a dozen CDs on eBay in the last 2 weeks (and another one has sold tonight). I just list them at 99p (it's free then) and sometimes they'll end up going for higher than that. It would take a bit longer to get to your £50 target I guess. I just relist any that don't sell the following week.

Benben sorry to hear what's happened at work. Hopefully your line manager will realise what's happened as she knows you better than this new teacher.

I have used MM in the past and found them to be good, you dont get much for your cds/dvds but mine were ones I could not sell on EBay got about £12 better than nothing, and they paid up ok.

Hmm, even the list hasn't helped much, I have cleared the washing mountain, baths are done, kitchen is cleaned, beds are stripped and remade, ds homework is done. The rest will have to wait, could well crack on with it all on tuesday when ds is out with the crim :o although I may use that time for a spot of retail therapy ;)

Yep, thats the British justice system for you, sentenced to 2.5yrs in September and gets days out in April. He's released properly in July but gets loads of days / weekends from now on. Its pathetic really, I know it costs the taxpayers thousands to keep him inside but whats the point in sentences that they only do a third of?? He will be tagged for the rest of it but really, thats hardly a deterrant is it?

i cant believe he is allowed days out how do you feel about ds seeing him are you ok with it I am sorry to hear about work - i know how you feel as on the friday before i left work for my adoption leave one team member of mine on long term sick took out a grievance on me (for something he made up and was not true) and i felt terrible it took the joy away of me meeting my little one and even though it was chucked out 3 months later it still upset and annoyed me. The team member is still on long term sick and I will not ever speak to them again (old man of 63 he ought to have known better) lying git - I was so annoyed and still am. So I know how you must be feeling about the work issue but try to keep strong and not think about it too much
