Went to Tescos, shopping came in at £37 so very happy with that :T Been to see Dad who was in a grumpy mood and told me I was in the way and a hindrance. I'd only been there about 30 seconds :rotfl: Then collected ds and am now chilling out for the rest of the day
Between now and bedtime i have to (a) do the ironing (b) do some ebaying (c) get dinner and (d) have a hot bath and get my pj's on

Evening all, I had a rubbish nights sleep last night (managed about 3 hrs), so am thinking about my pj's already tonight
I have also done some other thinking over the last couple of days and I seem to have lost my mojo slightly recently on the money front, not sure why really, maybe a combination of a few things, anyway, I have a few potentially costly events coming up over the next few months so the mortgage pot may be put lightly on the back burner as I don't want to forego some of them, eg, my friends wedding in London, I will need an outfit, travel and possibly a hotel if I can wangle a morning off work (unlikely). The night out with cutie on saturday also screwed up the budget but those are the kind of things where I don't mind, I don't go out that often and especially not with seriously cute guys, so I won't scrimp on them, those are the events to be enjoyedAnyway, I'm not too sure what this means for my plan of action, I'll give it all some more thought over the next day or two ...
Today though has been a nsd :TMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hi Benben,
I've read your whole diary over the last couple of days and I'm in awe of how you keep so positive with so much to deal with. You've even inspired me to start my own diary!
I just wanted to say you sound like a wonderful Mum and your boy is lucky to have you!
Good luck with your renewed money saving enthusiasm.

Evening all, sorry if you're feeling abandoned, I've been a bit rubbish this week haven't I
Anyway, another lsd today, I spent £2 on lunch. Nothing else to report finance wise.
After school we went to see Dad, didn't really know we were there again
In other news a friend from school has lent me 2 season tickets for Bmths match this saturday. I asked my brother but he can't make it, so I texted cutie. Anyway he replied to say he will be in London but it would have been greatI replied saying not a problem and that tomorrow I have ds final hospital appt, he replied again saying he hopes it goes well. Now I know that doesn't sound much but we know his record with texting :rotfl: so I'm well chuffed with him

Morning, my weekend started off well but has gone a bit pear shaped...
I booked my tickets to friends wedding in May, I'm going up on the sunday afternoon, go to the reception then get a 5.30am train back in time for work on the monday :eek:I have texted cutie and he is going to pick me up from the station and give me a lift to work (station is near-ish his house)
So all was going well, then I found out that a new teacher hs put in a complaint about meWithout going into details she has been really unprofessional about it, hasn't gone to her line manager or mine, has gone straight to top dogs  and actually, if she'd spoken to me / line managers she would have seen it was a misunderstanding and isn't really an issue whatsoever. I know I haven't done anything wrong but its really upset me as its unfair  I have phoned my line manager to tell her about it but she was out, will see what she says when she calls me back. I'm even more annoyed as I have gone out of my way to help her settle in to the department and have done extra stuff to make her life easier ... well not any more hunny
But I don't like atmospheres and we work as a close department and this really isn't going to help that whatsoever
Grrr!!
Anyway, other stuff ... might be off to watch the footie today, my brothers down for the day so he may use the tickets instead, not sure yet. Ds had his hospital appointment yesterday, was a bit pointless tbh, they want to do more assessments, want him to do more camhs stuff, and will assess again in 4 months  Hey ho, life goes on ....Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Bleah
Some teachers (usually the insecure ones) do seem to feel theatened by good TAs.
She's a bit stupid not following protocol and going to your line manager so has probably marked her own card-Not good for a teacher new to the school.
Nothing much you can do til Monday so try not to stew over it xI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Hi Benben, life is tough enough sometimes just plodding along, and then someone throws a spanner in the works and knocks you off balance. Bah! perhaps she also fancies Cutie and is jealous of your friendship? Do you have any experience of Mus*c M*gpie? I am sat amongst a huge pile of cds, dvds and games and they have offered £50 for them. My boy wants to put the money towards the new Liverpool kit, they are all his, I wonder if I would have better luck on Eb*y?0
