BUT ... cutie was in for a meeting today (had no idea he was coming in until I bumped into him in a corridor), anyway, he asked what I'm up to at the weekend and said he was away tonight but is back tomorrow morning and told me to call him tomorrow :j :j Woohoo, finally !!I'm trying not to hold my breath or anything as we know what he's like lol but at least I may have something exciting to look forward to this weekend
Excellent! Keep us posted....
After finally remembering to weigh myself I lost 1lb this week. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Aah my cutie guy is an endearing puzzle
I called him this morning and we were chat chat chat about the mediation stuff (he used to do something to do with law), then we were chatting about his course (he's not packing it in now after all), and were on the phone for about 45 minutes
then he kept losing his signal so he said he'd call me back in an hour when he got home (was travelling). Anyway, he called back and said he is stupidly busy for the next 4 weeks but then breaks up for Easter the week before we do so shall we meet up then? Thats 4 weeks away still !! :rotfl:
He's funny, he can't multitask anything, its almost like we can only meet up in the holidays not in term-time
So, I have 4 weeks to get some weight shifted

Morning, I *think* I might not need to buy a new laptop after all :j :j After trying various things I somehow managed last night to wipe windows off it  Anyway, with nothing left to lose I played around a bit and managed to reinstall it and everything is now back to factory settings
It does mean today I need to reload in all my documents, photos etc, and also somehow sort out the wireless connection as thats gone and I'm currently sat in the middle of the lounge floor with wired everywhereBUT I can get back on the internet at proper speed again
Todays plan is a catch up day; I need to get the computer back to normal, do the end of month banking which isn't going to be pretty but nowhere near as bad as it would have been if I'd bought a new laptop, ds has a couple of pieces of homework to do, baths, ironing etc etc, all the normal stuff, and hopefully a nice walk down the beach as it looks like a lovely day out there already

Thankyou Atlonglast, you're absolutely right I do like him a lot, something that is quite alien to me
But I have accepted that it is just friends, but I do still look forward to seeing him / hearing from him.

Thanks Poles, we did win the quiz (£36 between the team of 8) but we decided to give the money to one team member who's doing a sponsored swim, so was a good night all round
