Hi Mummymandy, I don't know whats wrong with it other than I cleaned it and it hasn't worked since :( There's a lesson in there somewhere isn't there  Luckily I have a double oven so I am using the other one at the moment, it is probably something like a reset switch but I need to figure it out.

Same thing happened to me with my oven on Sunday, put the casserole in the bottom oven then the electricity went off, and now its not heating up, but like you Im using the top oven for the moment, just hope that does not go. Going to see if I can find someone next week to look at it. Hoping its not going to be expensive.

If the oven has a timer switch check that, my old was was great at getting stuck in when I cleaned it and then I'd stand and wonder why it wasn't working.

Hope your Dad loves his momory book, it's such a lovely idea.

Morning all, not a happy one here ... I spoke to the crim when he rang ds last night and he said he wants to carry on with mediation, the cost to me isn't his problem, "you had enough money off me when you sold the house" ... err, I sold MY house 5 years ago and he'd been off the mortgage for 12 months by then anyway?? :rotfl::rotfl: So, it looks like the battles on. I called Womens Aid for some advice last night, I already feel so stressd by it all, I can't bear the thought of another battle with him. They have given me another number to call on monday who can halp me with legal advice about the mediation etc. I'm trying to not let it all get to me but it has already, I'm snappy and feel so low again :(

I also didn't get much of dads book done last night because I was too stressed and googling all about mediation, so now its a rush today to get it done. Hmmmph, things can only get better

  • :hello: Keep your chin up, your page has kept me going over the last couple of years, especially how you throw yourself in to all your housework! I know how hard it is to be a single working mother with a small child, you do an amazing job by all accounts on here, so sending you a big hug and remember, nothing bad lasts for ever.:hello:

My computer is playing up big time today, hardly been able to get it going at all, so if I'm not around much thats the reason, can see a new one being needed again soon

Also had a phonecall today saying a friend I used to work with died this morning from cancer :( It never rains eh?! Duchy if you're still here, it was the blonde lady whose name began with B who worked backstage :(

I've been struggling on with my poky little top oven for 2 years. Ltet me know if you find the fix.

Sorry to hear about your friend :(

Also sorry to hear about the crim's intentions. He's probably been chatting to a mate who knows the system (they all have a mate who knows the system). Stick to your guns and hope the Women's Aid can give you some positivity when you call them.
