I knew when I typed that that the consensus would be not to text him HNY ... I don't think he is being rude, I think he's just not a technology kinda guy, he hardly ever had his phone on him at school, its a basic one not an all singing all dancing flashy one, and tbh, I'd love a bloke that isn't surgically attached to their phone :D However, it would be great if he could just make a *bit* more effort with returning texts, especially when it was his idea to meet again this week!

I probably will still send it tomorrow night, but then I do send them to lots of people on NY's eve, so its not like its just him ;)

I get what you are all saying, and tbh, he's told me he isn't looking for anyone but wants to be friends, I need to accept that. I do text my friends though on nye so will include him as part of that, but it will be a standard text that goes to all of them, just saying "Happy 2012, hope you have a great year!" or something standard like that :)

Morning all, just won £20 on a games offer  That'll do nicely to keep me going to the end of the year as I need to buy some alcohol for tonight and a 70's top if possible :D That means my money total for the next 24 hours is £44. Any of this thats left over (not likely) will go towards the car breakdown insurance (£28) as that isn't budgeted for yet :o

Right, bath is done, flat is tidy, just need to get dressed, straighten my hair and hoover through before the ex in-laws arrive

Been shopping, got the food shopping for £33 (inc. tonights alcohol), guessing I will need to top up during the week, but having a list is definitely the way to go (and no child with me ;)). I also went to the vintage clothes shop and felt like Mr Benn in there, it was amazing, from now on I will nip in there every now and then just to treat myself to something fabulous :D I found a gorgeous top for tonight, its a cream cheesecloth top with smocking stuff on the chest, it was £12 and I love it :j I also popped into Claires and picked up some "peace / love / flowers" type temporary tattoos that were reduced to £1.50 :T

Car park cost me £2, so overall I spent £14 plus £33 in tescos (that comes out of Januarys budget though). So assuming I don't need to spend anything else then I will have enough left over to cover the breakdown insurance too :T :T

He's staying at mums tonight PL, he isn't a lover of new year, (change in routine and all that), so it will be low-key :) I'm staying at my friends house and we're walking to the party from hers, that way we can both drink without the hassle of silly cab prices on new years eve
