No worries Alice, I will add you
Been out for a drive around, picked up some bread milk etc (£5), then popped into a friends. Have sorted tomorrow night, am going to a 70's/80's fancy dress party with her. I have some very flared jeans, platform boots, a vintage Austin Reed 70's suede jacket and a beaded belt that I can stick around my hair as a headband, just need to sort out a top to go with it. There are a few vintage shops in a local town, I may nip there tomorrow while ds is out with the crim's parents.
Oh, and still no text from cutieThink its time I gave up on that one, am really really gutted especially as he was the one who said, three times, for me to text him cos he wanted to see me again this week

Maybe you need to have a 'no worrying about cutie texting in January' challenge? He is obviously hopeless (male thing) but he clearly 'likes' you (fun-bags staring thing). Focus on you rather than him and he will probably come chasing after you anyway. x0 -
Thankyou Superpup, he did say monday might be okay, but said he'd text me yesterday to let me know ... thing is, he's told me he's not looking for anyone so why don't I hear it??

But if he said Monday might be okay, Monday is days away! He will think he's got loads of time! They are programmed very differently from us. I know this would absolutely kill you but if he finally pulls his finger out of his **** on Saturday or Sunday and says Monday is fine, I think you should say sorry, I've arranged something for Monday, how about Wednesday? Or similar, but you get the jist
I don't like playing games but I don't like seeing you get taken for granted which I think you are a little bit, whether it's intentional or not. Hopefully it isn't x0 -
Yep, I get what you're saying SP, but monday is perfect for me as ds is staying at mums anyway as he has an inset day on tuesday and i'm back at work, so I don't need to sort a babysitter, but assuming there may be another meet after this one (big assumption
), then I will not be so available then

Ah, scrap that then. Just go for Monday but it wouldn't surprise me if you hear from him last minute but equally, don't be upset if you don't because there's always the chance that all day Monday he will be saying to himself, "What was I supposed to be doing today, what have I forgotten...?" x0 -
My OH is terrible at leaving things until the last minute or forgetting about it altogether. And he doesn't attach anywhere near as much importance to stuff as I do. Don't be surprised if it's really last minute.

I expect it will be last minute, if at all, although to be fair he does get round to texting me eventually ...
Although, I will send him a Happy New Year text tomorrow night (not just him, I send them to several friends), so maybe he'll remember me at that pointMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I wouldn't send him one! I went through a similar thing a few years back, a guy pursued me for months then went all quiet when I finally gave in. By NY I thought 'b*gger you then' and didn't send him anything - what do you know when I woke up on NYD he'd sent me a text at 2.30am wishing me HNY and asking why I hadn't sent him one!!!
I don't think it would do you any harm to go all quiet on him and let him do some of the chasing. If he's interested he'll be in touch and if not it wasn't meant to be.
Although I think that some men are useless at replying to texts (some aren't before I get shot down in flames) my opinion is that if someone I was keen on was texting me I would make damn sure my phone was within easy reach so I could see as soon as they'd text me and I would reply asap. Similarly, if I had said I would text them I would blimmin well keep my word. Textiquette....
Your night out and your outfit sounds great btw. I am staying in with Jools HollandIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
