Today has been a busy day, quite productive although still loads more to do tomorrow. Today I have; done 2 loads of washing, made the flat tidy enough that my mum didn't scream in horror when they came round tonight
, taken my aunt to a party, picked my aunt up (v drunk) from the party, taken ds to meet his dad, collected ds birthday present from Waitrose, faffed about, decided and ordered ds a new bed and mattress (at last!), ordered ds some more train track (aunt is giving him money for his birthday so will be using that), did some food shopping in Waitrose (although not the normal weekly shop), remembered to water the plants, and ate lots of chocolate chip cookies
Moneywise today I spent £120 on the bed and £80 on the mattress, but I got discount codes that knocked a tenner off each order, and also topcashback of a fiver on each order, and the mattress had 15% off too, so in total they cost £110 and £58 plus £10 cashback plus about 400 clubcard points (worth £12 in deals) :money: :money:Not sure where this money is coming from but he has desperately needed a new bed for ages and agesMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Morning all, I have until 3pm when ds gets home to get this place into shape; most rooms are fairly tidy, they just need a bit more work and a really good clean. So, I will be checking in regularly through the morning, but I want to blitz it today so that when ds gets home we can do his birthday cake, then tomorrow we're off to London, and tuesday is his birthday. His new bed is being delivered on thursday although I'm not sure yet when the new mattress is coming.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Its all coming together quite nicely now, my bedroom is done, bed stripped and remade, all clean and tidy
I'm not worrying about the kitchen yet as we'll be doing his cake later so it will get messed up again, its not too bad but I'll leave cleaning the floor etc until the cake is completed
Ds bedroom is the only other room left to do, and again its only getting a quick going over as I will be emptying half of it out on wednesday ready for his new bed on thursday
We're going to mums once I've collected ds this afternoon for dinner and to clean the guinea pigs. Before then I need to wrap ds birthday presents, work out what bits and pieces I need to get to do his cake and go to sainsburys and get themMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hm, quite an eventful day; I got the bits and pieces done earlier, collected ds, went to mums for dinner (lovely
), then my sister phoned to say that they had changed their mind and didn't want to come to London with us tomorrow now  I'm not surprised as she can be like that, but I'm so   with her; I got the train tickets ages ago and its ds' birthday treat as a day out with his cousins. He is painfully aware that other kids don't invite them to their parties etc so I thought it would be a nice day for him with other kids his own age. Her reason is that her boys don't like trains ... well, we're going to London on a train and then we'll do stuff when we get there, hardly a problem is it?? I can't believe she left it til today to tell me ... luckily my friend from work and her son are happy to come with us, so the days still going ahead, but I am hurt by my sister, she is fully aware of everything going on with ds and camhs etc, so I thought she'd make an effort this year, clearly not
Never mind, we'll still have fun
Off to finish making ds birthday cakeMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
