Morning all, I had a lovely night out last night, lots of laughs and lots of Pimms :D

Today I need to wait in as ds new bed is being delivered; yesterday we dismantled his old one and took it all down to the garage and cleaned his room ready. They are delivering some time between 7am and 7pm , typically the weather looks lovely outside today, hopefully they:eek:'ll arrive this morning then we can get out in the sun later on :)

  • Ah BB, what a PITA having to wait in. Can't you ring and see if they can at least narrow the time down a bit? I know when i have done that sometimes they have requested that the driver rings me about 1 hour beforethey are due instead so i can pop out. Worth a try?

Glad the holidays are going well, so far here we've had a garden games day, a miniature train birthday party, cinema trip yesterday (£1 kids film so still MSE) and today we have friends coming to visit and tomorrow we are all meeting up in a local park with other friends!

Hope your delivery comes soon so you can get outside - have a good day

Thankyou Alison, they were supposed to give me a 4hr window but I haven't heard anything yet ... will leave it a while then call them. So far though I have cleared the ironing mountain, so maybe its not that bad that I have to stay in :) It won't do ds any harm to have a bit of a lazy one today, he's still quite tired.

    All done :D:D
Ds was really helpful and enjoyed his first flat-pack experience :) He's now laying on his new bed, very excited about going to bed tonight already ;) :j

I'm now going to have half an hours chill out on the sofa, followed by a nice hot bath tonight as my back is already starting to ache.
