Feeling well enough to knit, although the nuclear waste orange wool that I let DD2 talk me into buying is hurting my eyeballs. Decided to go with a pumpkin tea cosy in the hopes of using it all up in one go. Think thats wishful thinking.

Remebered to upload shop n scan receipts for triple points. Am incapable of doing much else today.

Morning Moo, and happy new year to you and your lurkers. Glad to hear you're feeling a little better, and fingers and toes (and lungs - since that appears to be what I've just coughed up) crossed for a year which goes from strength to strength for you.

*waves back* germs are spreading nicely. OH has it too. Still he could do with losing a bit of weight. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that.

Got bored of feeling sorry for myself so had a vaguely productive afternoon in that I exchanged one set of PJs for another, knitted half a tea cosy, cleared my inbox of all e-mails (admitedly most were expired surveys so it didn't take too long to do) and flogged a v. small pile of PC games to CEX. Did attempt to offload some CDs that way too but a penny a CD was a joke so bunged them on fleabay as a job lot along with a whole heap of other tat. Watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, rather glad I made DD2 go to bed, she would have had nightmares.

Now waiting for OH to drop off before I go to bed, he suffers from that strange male affliction whereby the iller they are the more attractive they perceive themselves to be. Either that or snot kick starts their randy gene.

:rotfl:!! It's the way the snot backs up on the sinuses which then presses on all sorts of other bits and pieces in the brain, and 'hello sailor'...;):D

Tried, for the second time, knitting a beanie hat in the round...now I'm clearly no expert, but I'm fairly sure it shouldn't be big enough to double as a bag...nor should it resemble a witch's hat...this is why I usually stick to scarves!! :o
