Yet more financial faux pas and many other disasterous decisions

Mouse corpses disposed of, managed to fill an entire hour at school. Whipped up a dregs of the freezer dinner, the first of many. Watched the Smurfs movie which wasn't quite as irritating as anticipated. Finished knitting the strawberry hat and celebrated by scoffing rather a lot of Toblerone.
Next on the hit list is a ball of garish tangerine acrylic yarn that torments my eyeballs everytime I open the cupboard door. Will need to peruse the pages of Ravelry to find a use for it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Bloody kids. Wish I had selfish brats. As it is DD1 has generously shared the lurgi and I've spent most of the night uncertain which end needs priority over the bog.
Planning to find a vast array of seriously naff films to doze through on the sofa. Hoping I can sleep off the worst of it.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda Pawb!
Rudely awoken several times during the night by the hound from hell who decided that every bang of a firework needed 5 minutes worth of barking. Fortunately both DDs slept through it which is miraculous as DD2 has the pukey lutgi too. Its quite surprising just how far the noise carries at night.
Feel much more human today in that I'm drinking coffee where yesterday I couldn't manage water. Hoping that means I'm over the worst of it. I hate being ill which is made far worse by trying not to throw up at the stench of vomit errupting from the small child sitting on your knee clutching a fowl smelling bowl full of the stuff. Thats just one of the many joys of parenting.
Plans for today involve a shower and much laundry. Really need to get into school at some point for an hour to finish applying polish to the floor but that will have to wait until Monday. Can't face it today and can't leave it any longer as I'm officially due back in work on Tuesday along with the rest of the staff.
Still all this being ill malarky is doing wonders for my sales shopping. I haven't left the house to shop nor splurged on-line which means the only thing I've bought for X-mas 2012 is a pack of sticky gift labels which the nice man from Ocado delivered.
I have an in-box full of surveys but can't be bothered with those either. Suppose I should because I'm not that far from payout on them. Think I've four companies to go before I've cashed out of the lot, although since one of them is YouGov thats not going to happen anytime soon. Still thats another thing to bung on my list of stuff to do in 2012.
Will be starting the new year with a laid back vegged out on the sofa day in the hopes of returning to normal at warp speed. At least I feel like doing something today even if that something is only a spot of knitting. Must get out more!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
