biscit, your argument might hold water if
    (a) the law (CPR Regulation 5 from memory now?) made reference to the beahviour of a resonably educated person but it doesn't. It refers to any likelihood that an average consumer might be misled.

Yes. An average consumer. Not the absolute thickest of consumer, an average one.
  • Have revisited this thread because two months on, I wonder if anyone can tell me the approximate right retail price for MSE'ers to pay for 750ml of Innocent Smoothie in the UK? To within a pound, say, and not wishing to waste too much of anything, including anyone's time of course?

you want to know how much they cost?

    have a look at tesco.com and asda.com
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
  • Well actually I looked at the shelf label in Sainsbury's last Friday and in Asda on Tuesday.

The difference in the two prices was £1.41 so I am stumped for what the 'right' or 'normal' price actually might be - which is exactly how Coca Cola like it I imagine.

  • Anyone know what the right price is tonight?

At Asda you can buy 750ml of Strawberry and Banana for £2.80 (shelf label says 'New') or 1250ml for £2.

Alternatively you can buy 750ml of the most expensive one - Pomegranates, Blueberries and Acai - for £1.50.

Got that everyone? Do keep up at the back - there'll inevitably be questions in the house before Christmas - usually prefixed with
"Mum, can we have some ..."
    OR
"Dad, shall we get some ..."

According to mysupermarket, £2.79 is full price, but they're on offer for £1.50, including the Strawberry and Banana.
