PARKING EYE are lying to me! How to prove it?

Yep - 2 colleagues of mine had these 'fines' imposed - yes they parked there, but at Aldi's invitation to do a roadshow distributing safety items to members of the public!

They both got letters and I have had a Devil of a job convincing them to ignore the letters - but I think I am getting there - I have showed them this forum and think they get the message.

One collegue went back to the store with the letter and showed it to the manager - who asked if either of them had shopped in the store that day? They both had, so he said if they could show him the receipts for the shopping and they had spent over £70, he would arrange for the tickets to be cancelled!

Needless to say, next time they ask for us to attend the store to distribute more safety equipment, it will be a resounding NO!!!!!!

The cheeky s*ds!! ..'spent over £70.00' my a**e!! Your colleagues were used and abused by Aldi.
The irrelevance of whether you spent over £70.00 or 70p is tantamount to blackmail, what matters is that you made a stop and shop in their store, or were given otherwise permsission to park there. But ya know what, it doesn't matter anymore, just park and ignore. Aldi deserve it for their greed.

Absolutely - I will say no to working there again, but if pressure is bought to bear, I will do it and take my car this time - and make sure I'm there over the time limit! Then the fun will start!!
