Well after some doubts due to seeing what some people had posted so far things are going exactly as Clouds said they would on their website.

I managed to get my order through, I got an email confirming the order, a few days later I got an email asking me to confirm the size of the mattress before delivery which I did and today I got an email just confirming the order and the postage has only been taken out of my account today.

I should now be getting an email to confirm a delivery date over the next week.

I guess only time will tell if I get this and also whether the mattress is any good or not but I will keep you all posted.

So far things seem to be as they should be after the initial trouble with the over worked website.

I don't think anyone doubts that you'll get your mattress, I'm sure you will. It's just the marketing stinks! The mattress will only be worth about £200 tops!! Never never worth the money that they are suggesting.

As for any guarantee that's offered I guess the company will be closed in less then 3 months. Then what?

  • I also bought the voucher & got worried after reading about the short company history. My husband & I decided to go with it as if it wasn't great we'd put it on the bed in the spare room.

When I tried to order via the website it was down for the entire day. I finally placed my order for a King Size mattress. The communication emails I've had from them were pretty good & it was delivered yesterday.

Initially I thought they'd sent a mattress topper instead as it was rolled up & vacuum packed. We opened it with the instructions they gave us & had a good sleep with it last night. I don't believe it is worth £1049 & time will tell if we have an overheating issue but so far so good.
  • Interesting that KGB have now posted up a near-identical offer under a different name...

Hi I did alot of reseach on companys and am wanting to buy a mattress im a bit worried about buying from this company I really dont think the discount will be as good as they are saying, I bought a memory foam mattress topper from hf4you.co.uk earlier this year and its been brilliant, has anybody had a mattress from them? im thinking I should prob stick to a company I have used before ???

I wouldn't buy them from them as their T+C's do NOT even comply with the law of the land.

  • Hi
I persevered with ordering a memory foam mattress and am awaiting delivery, which is overdue!

I had an email from Clouds on 5/8 to say it would be delivered w/c 8/8 if I clicked on the link to confirm it was convenient. I did. The email said I would get an email from Interlink Express the day before delivery confirming my time slot. Waited all week, no emails received. 12/8 received an email from Interlink saying it would be here on 15/8, and another email saying if I checked the Interlink tracking system in the morning, I would receive my 1 hr delivery time slot. Now midday 15/8, no time slot showing on tracker system.

Called local Interlink depot only to be be told it hadnt even arrived at their hub! So all the emails are guff, and cant be relied on. Now told by depot that it will be delivered tomorrow. We will see! Not Clouds fault, this is down to Interlink, except that having paid £19.99 for delivery, I would have hoped that Clouds had chosen a more reliable delivery service partner.
  • Hey all,
I purchased a King through Groupon aswell and a week and a half ago got an email saying to expect an email about delivery last week....low and behold I am still waiting, I have tried calling and get no answer and strangely the "landline" will go to "orange answerphone". I have also emailed and had no response....Ive just tried to put a negative comment on their website and low and behold it never showed after moderation :-( however I did a number of test ones that amazingly appeared on the site which means they are picking and choosing which comments they allow on!!) Im thoroughly disappointed in Groupon this is the first and last time I will EVER buy a deal off them again! Its not worth the hassle!!! I let you know how I get on :-) I wish I had discovered this thread before I put my order through!!
  • I just wrote to clouds and got an immediate response. Seems as if they have abandoned their telephone customer service completely:

    Hello,
Please could you let me know if my mattress is to be delivered this week?
I filled in your form online but have yet to receive any email from the
delivery company. I have tried calling your customer service several times
    but no answer.
    Thank you.

    Kind regards
    Ditte

    Their reply:

    Dear Ditte,

We are dealing with 2 courier companies at the moment in order to speed up
deliveries. One company would email you the day before the deal is
dispatched and inform you the mattress will arrive next day, and will
email you a 2nd time on the day of the delivery with an exact hour
timeslot. The other company you will also get a notification 1 day in
advance of your order arriving. If for any reason you are not in when
delivery is attempted, a card will be left for you and you will be able to
re-arrange delivery with them free of charge. The timeslot of this week
was a preference we requested from you and we will aim to deliver within
this timeslot. However, normal delivery time is up to 4 weeks, so it is
possible that your order will spill over into next week.

    Kind regards,
    Clouds

    So I will patiently await....
  • We received our mattress yesterday and so far it seems fine. Spent a night on it last night and it was very comfortable.

I've never used a memory foam mattress before but my partner has and she likes this one so it must be fine.

Had a few emails during the whole process from Clouds stating that the order has gone through, for me to confirm delivery, expected delivery dates etc etc. The only issue I had with this is that I got an email on Friday stating that Interlink had the mattress and was due out for delivery the next day and to check the website in the morning for a delivery time. it took until Tuesday for this to happen... Interlinks fault though this I assume.

Not sure if the mattress is really worth £899 (but then is any mattress). Only issues I have had is the lack of response from Clouds to a couple of emails I sent and the fact that it mentions no where on their site or with the mattress documentation how the 5 year guarantee works.

These guys are back on groupon again today. http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/national-deal/clouds-memory-foam/992921

I guess by now more ppl would have received their mattresses from previous groupon sale. How is the quality of the product? Any feed back would be great as I am thinking of buying one.
