hi,it might be worth checking out groupon's daily offer as today you can pick any size mattress ,memory foam etc for a bargain £250 which is apparently a 79% saving, hope this helps0

Can anyone comment on the quality, never heard of Clouds mattresses? I'm also after a good deal but this sounds too good to be true.0

thats the one i saw, wasnt sure if we can list deals etc, it did look a great price didnt it? Then i looked online and found a site (cant remember what one), and they had loads of mem foam superkings for under £300, so that got me thinking, have they come down in price, and if theres 8 or 10 out there for under £300-£400 do i need to buy one right away0

Don't think some how they are making the mattresses themselves as they claim, I may be wrong. But I'm guessing they won't be around for long.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -

I wouldn't touch them, not been going a month yet.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
I googled their address (provided on their website) and discovered this:
completeformations DOT co DOT uk/company-shop/regent-street DOT html
(Sorry, had to post it that way as I am a new poster and they won't let me post links apparently!)
In other words, the address provided (Regents Street, London--sounds great!) is actually for an address forwarding business, that also appears to help with 'overnight business start ups'. So no clue who these people are. They may be legitimate and just starting out, so using GroupOn to get some marketing and exposure. They have a huge shipment of memory foam that got dumped and decided to make a business. Or.... hard to say. But as a previous poster stated, they don't appear to have been in business for more than a couple of weeks! They may have taken their name deliberately to sound like one of the other memory foam mattress companies out there (Cloud Nine, etc.). Anyone actually own one of their mattresses?? Dealt with them??0 -
The full domain reg info is below and gives me a few problems. James gives an address that doesn't exist. Try and google it! Post code shows he lives in Holland Park, London. There is a Lonsdale Rd near by but not a Gardens. Hum!
So now I'm interested, as I was about to spend £450 with James Moorein. The registered owner of the newly created domain name, (20 June 2011). A google, yell, 192 search for a James Moorein returned no such name in the UK! Ah ah!
So looking at Groupon I see that just over 5500 of these have been bought in the last few days. Some at £250 some at £450. That means they have "sold" at least £1,375,000 of beds in a week.
Its just a guess but this isn't smelling right to me, but you feel free to grab a bargain at the hot new retailer.

I had a mad moment and bought a voucher from Groupon for a mattress offered from Clouds. When I saw how many had been sold I found it all a bit sus. I looked in Company House records to see if this Ltd company was registered. I could not find it. and now that I learned that their website is only a couple of weeks old as well, I have cancelled my voucher using Groupons cancellation policy. Thank god for that policy & thank you for putting this info into play!

I too bought a Groupon voucher, now trying to redeem my voucher, the webiste for Clouds keeps crashing. There is no answer on the telephone either. With 4537 'deals' bought, how on earth are they going to supply people with all those mattresses? plus, what if people bought the 2 mattress deal, does that mean there potentially 9074 mattresses needing to be supplied?!
I seriously considering cutting my losses and emailing groupon to cancel my voucher. I've had the voucher for 3 days, with now only 4 days left to be able to cancel it. I really do need a new mattress, but at what cost? spending £250 and getting nothing? Or having to wait an extremely long time?0 -
I too would be interested to hear if anyone has found out anymore about this company.
I purchased the voucher too. I actually did give them a ring a couple of days after and did actually speak to someone so that was quite promising but now having read this I am not sure.
I have emailed Groupon regarding this to see if they have actually vetted the company but don't expect to hear back from them before the end of my 7 day cancellation period so I need to decide what to do one way or another... so need a new mattress though!0
