DGSs have just had Cookie out for a bit. Cookie definately feels lighter. Just hope he didn't have a nibble on the wiring which I know is in pipe box.

Boys watching Jurassic Par (sp) as both into dinosaurs. DD already been on to make sure not too scarie. DG2 will be in bed within the next hour (and sleeps 12 hours + at that at only 21 months!) DGS1 will get to stay up a bit later but he always wakes up about 6.30. However. They always sleep night through so can't complain.

Hugs and thoughts to them that need it.

    Evening everyone :hello:

I've just returned from a few days away at my parents' house, so it's nice to catch up on here! I'm glad that most people had a decent Christmas!

I've eaten far too much, but I did take my parents' dog out for a few long walks. Unfortunately, my trousers STILL feel tight - like it's not a miracle cure :D. DH was working on Boxing Day and yesterday, so left me in the comforts of Lincolnshire, driving back up last night to pick me up. We eventually left this afternoon, having been fed a little more by my mum. :D

Anyway, I'd better go for now but thought that I should "check in".

Good Evening All - hope we are well

Oh dear twink, its sad to lose any pet, regardless of age etc, we lost our rabbit the day before Xmas eve, just hope DS takes the news ok.

We played Little Britain DVD game earlier, which Santa kindly brought me for Xmas, its excellent.

Just done dinner for kids & OH, they had cheese & mushroom omlette, Ive just had toast, didn't fancy a great deal, still coping with ear/head ache.

DLB, I hope you didnt think by me offering our bench to you was a hint for an invite! it was actually - no honestly - I think I do remember you asked us ages ago. We would have gate crashed any way - :rotfl: got plenty of booze & some more CORKY's to bring round, is there owt else I can bring - food wise.

Caught up with the washing again, I had cleared the basket yesterday, but with changing the beds last night, it soon filled up.

Decorations hopefully coming down Friday, if we have time, if not, deff the wk end.

Right off to do banana's & custard now for DD.
Have a lovely evening all - Take care & love as usual

Sounds like you're having to pay a rather high price for yur Christmas :o. Whatever it is I hope it passes soon and you all feel better.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

    I've been productive today :j

So far have put together 2 large shelving units and the stands for the TV and hi-fi. Have just been attempting to connect up the hi-fi separates now there's something to put them on, but had forgotten that by positioning the two stands around a corner - which is really the only option - I would need to buy at least 2 sets of longer audio leads   which means I'll need to pop into Richer Sounds. Might go tomorrow, it's only a bus ride away (and can couple it with a trip to Borough Market :D)

Sore throat has developed into sore-throat-and-no-voice  - must look after myself so I can try to get over it before choir on Sunday!

elona/LTS, I hope you and yours are all better soon ((((hugs)))) (edit: and you too PP)

    Love Rzl xx
