Good Afternoon All - hope we are well
So glad Cookie has returned grannybroon, hope the little mite is ok
Roz, cant believe the Police wont do owt about the noise level, myself & DLB have a similar situtation with 1 of our neighbours, playing loud music, DLB hear's it more than me, but its so inconsiderate, and there is nothing worse than listening to loud music, when you have to get up for work.
DLB, do you need my blue bench again for your New Year's Party.
Had a nice relaxing day at work, only me and the manager was there. Half the system was'nt working for a couple of hours, and most of the usual calls was done pretty quickly. There was a chance we could have come home early, but sadly for us, they system was up n running, so I had to stay
Had to fetch OH from work, as they let him go early. DS is out playing, but Ive been told by the babysitter he has been tormenting DD, so - I'll having words (again)
Not decided whats for dinner yet
Just about to make a start on ironing uniforms for work tomorrow. Then I'm goin to chill out after sorting the WM out again.
Ive decided, after recent events with my EX, that I will give him 1 last chance of having the kids, but if he decides to go behind my back again, then I will have to re-consider his access. My sister has caused myself and my family much heart ache over the yrs, amongst other reasons, thats why there is no contact between us, and he knows the reasons why I feel so strongly about it. I will never stop my kids from seeing their aunty, but under strict conditions, that Im around at all times - if she wants contact - she knows where I live. I think overall I'm being fair.
Anyway - moan over - Take care all - Love as usual

Hi everyone :hello:
I'm so pleased with your good news, grannybroon!
And Roz, I know all about noisy neighbours! Took me two years of fighting to get something done, and then they moved out.
Well, today all peaceful after a nice Christmas. I'm stuck indoors all day because I have a lot of reports to do online, so I'm popping in and out of MSE at the same time.
Keeping myself from too much food today and tomorrow, which is healthy and moneysaving. Other than that, everything is running normally.
Found an old Italian book of recipes! :j When I get round to have a look I will post some goodies for you lot
Have a peaceful day everyone!Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
hi
Glad to see so many of you are well, hardly get the time to read this anymore, but thats life.
Hope you all had good xmas, ours was ok nothing spectacular or dramatic;)
Today is my 1st day at home so lots of organising going on as once again the kids toys have filled the house up- trying to persuade them to part with old toys is quite a challenge to say the least.
Have bought all next xmas wrapping paper cards and stocking fillers in the sales, also goot dd her birthday present and a few other pressies, although forgot to buy my dad whos birthday isnext weekStill have enough junk food and chocolate to last a few months for the first time in my life I have gone off chocolate- have eaten so much of it over the last week. Also started my diet today, don't see the point in waiting until new years- just a general cut down of all thing unhealthy and lots more excercise- which mostly consists of digging my allotment and putting raised beds in before spring.
right best go and get some more cleaning done.
hugs to all

Hi Everyone
Just had a very quick look at what you are all up to. Plans changed for today when we offered to have DGSs for the night. They are here now and Grandad Tiger is trying to eat them at this moment.
Cookie seems none the worse for his adventure and has spent all day curled up in his wee house sound asleep. The cucumber I put in his dish as a welcome home treat disappeared very quickly
Thanks for all your good wishes

Had to dash out to the chemist to get something for DD as she has been violently sick all night and was still trying to be sick.
Finally got something to settle her stomach and she is asleep at the moment and feeling a little bit better.
DH has been feeling queasy for the last day or so and now I feel a bit "off" so let's hope that all six of us do not get this!"This site is addictive!"

Back from Ikea, we now have a very smart, much smaller table in the kitchen and the drop leaf is now standing in front of the window in the living room. Until it was out, I did not realise just how much room the old table took up, we can still get 5 of us round it so thats fine, 6 at a pinch I guess, if we serve ourslevs from the sideboard before we sit down to eat.........
Quite a dull day, it was foggy at one point, needless to say the world and his wife were in Ikea, but once we sorted out what we wanted and collected it from the warehouse the cashiers were very quick, not happy they charged me 70p to pay by credit card though.................thats a real rip off if they do it to everyone who goes through the store.
Eating the last of the gammon tonight with salad and new baby spuds, bought a packet st Tesco......just for the hols, trouble is I eat them.
Dr was quite pleased this morning I had only put on 1lb over the holiday, so that will have to come off and more besides..... winter its hard to get any exercise in.... especially when its cold and damp.
Right off to see to the supper, might have a little glass of wine........ thinking about it anyway........Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
