Spike has to be in the water.
We've had one of these since Christmas and whilst we don't use it very often (parental choice) when we do the kids have a ball. Today, first day of the hols, we got busy with the fizzy and it was fun:D. Fizzy tea not so good!!:rotfl:0 -

If those who are concerned, look back at Doc N's posting history, they will see that s/he raises the same issues every.single.time. the SodaStream is mentioned, so probably best to leave her/him to it...mavisangelica wrote: »Anyone know where I can buy the 500ml bottles please apart from the Sodastream website. I have just been to Lakeland and bought a pack of the litre bottles at £4.99 but they don't stock the smaller bottles.
At the moment they only seem to be sold on the SS website. I have sent an email to Lakeland asking them to consider stocking them in future and they sent a nice reply saying they will pass the request on. They are pretty receptive to customer requests, so if others email them too, that might tip the balance

Just ordered soda stream at comet lesss than half price £29 bargainLoobyTuesday wrote: »Hi
I have just bought a soda stream from Argos, a newer up to date model that makes a litre of fizzy liquid to which you can add a juice concentrate. These were originally £50.00 and are now reduced to £25!!!!!!, (you need to buy the concentrate seperately) I think they are out of stock to deliver but you can try stock at your local branch, you can reserve online to collect with 48 hours.
The price of the concentrate varies but you can buy from Asda for around £2-4 which makes 16 litres, I use ordinary juice to dilute or elderflower cordial. The CO2 refills are also available from Asda, each one is supposed to make 60 litres of fizzy water, not sure of the price may be £10.00 ish????
Hope this is of interest to someone :j0 -
Not really much of a reduction, we paid £37 for one with the £11.99 sample pack free with it in Argos about a month ago! Still worth it though IMO. Anyone know where we can get extra bottles for less than £9.99 for two? That is the containers you make the drink in not the bottles of concentrate.0
