Hi
I have just bought a soda stream from Argos, a newer up to date model that makes a litre of fizzy liquid to which you can add a juice concentrate. These were originally £50.00 and are now reduced to £25!!!!!!, (you need to buy the concentrate seperately) I think they are out of stock to deliver but you can try stock at your local branch, you can reserve online to collect with 48 hours.
The price of the concentrate varies but you can buy from Asda for around £2-4 which makes 16 litres, I use ordinary juice to dilute or elderflower cordial. The CO2 refills are also available from Asda, each one is supposed to make 60 litres of fizzy water, not sure of the price may be £10.00 ish????
Hope this is of interest to someone :j

Concentrates for the soda stream available in kitchenwear dept of St. Helens Home BArgains! Alot cheaper then the supermarket although I couldn't tell you an exact price!0

I just use High or Organic Juice/squash in mine, that is the cheaper way. The concentrates do not last long and are not very nice tbh.
The new ones do not break down, we have had ours about 5 years now and it gets used almost every day. I only ever buy 'real' coke at Xmas, otherwise we have squash and fizzy water.
go on, 'Get busy with the Fizzy'.0 -
Hi
It is ideal for children or anyone who is concerned about additives in fizzy pop, with this you know exactly what is going in to the water. I know people who make their own concentrates from fruit and sugar and then add this to the fizzy water. Also for diabetics as they can add their own flavourings.

yes, try apple juice for an appletise copy, any clear juice should work well (nothing thick and gloopy) grape, pineaple etc
Also use wine to make a nice cheap fizz!!0
