    Evening everyone

Had a very busy day today ds2 went for a full day so spent most of day driving to and from x 4. After he finished at 3.15 we were due back for a meetin at 6.30 so rather than do another 40 mins each way went into bishops stortford for tea, where we ended up at pizza express with 50% code off main course. Ds2 enjoyed his day which was good.

Jackieo ((hugs)) it sounds like you have wonderful memories.
Jackieg hope ur back is better soon, well done on your wedding organising. Thinking of yourr dsis and bil.
Redruby hope you feel better soon.
Bitsy sorry to hear your ds wanted to go home from his disco (hugs) to you.

Managed to hand my notice in today, they were very understanding and can't wait to start my new job in sept. I enjoy working with older kids.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

    Hi all,

Have had a lovely day to-day, OH suggested we go for a drive in Wicklow...don't know why, he usually runs the other direction when I suggest a drive anywhere. Very warm so we just dawdled along, saw a squirrel ( grey unfortunately) and were lucky enough to find some frauchans ( whinberries, whimberries etc) so picked some to take home, just enough for a pudding as they are very small....am going to save a few for the seeds and experiment with growing them in some peat....would love to have some in the garden. We had dinner out and tried to work out a short-cut home....ended up at one stage on military land so got out of there sharpish, didn't fancy being shot at....presume that they wouldn't but had visions so moved faster than my 'dawdle'. All in all a lovely day...

PenPin....sorry to hear that you are not so good at present, nice to see you.

    JackieO...hugs.

JackieG....would you mind your back woman!

Hester....hope that your DS feels better soon.

    Ruby...take care.

Cheapskate....tough one to deal with, our DS3 and his OH would work 48 hours a day, no problem, but neither he nor DDIL can handle money so they are always skint, often feel like demanding their paypackets and dishing out the money as I think it should be spent...hope that things improve for him soon.

Camelot...good news re DS...they will both come round I'm sure...not long to wait now.

    Monnagran...welcome.

Hugs to all in need or want of one, congratulations to those who are celebrating, stay safe and well
