I hardly follow anyone 'real' on Twitter as I don't really know anyone who tweets, if anyone wants to boost their followers let me know!

Me neither! The only 'famous' people I follow are wrestlers though. I'm @Biscuithead_ if anyone wants to add me.

That is a dilemma. Yikes, I'd only mention it if a question organically lead to it. I'd much rather lose some extra money from one MS company that possibly cost someone their job. Although it might not lead to them getting fired, just a warning. But then they won't be kind enough as to try and help people again.

Off to get holiday brochures today before I go see my Sister. We're still unsure if we're actually going to Miami. You all know how fickle I am! I quite like the idea of Florida (ETA: I mean Orlando, obviously!) - all the parks style! Do you mind telling me how much it's roughly costing you for going Birdie? It's totally fine if not!

Sorry to hear your OH is having is man period! I can't stand being about my OH when he has his. But that's a crazy difference, though like Tete said some people just don't think to shop around. You'd think with living with a MSEr things would rub off!

We switched energy providers last night. One of those door to door guys. I think they're cheaper by something like 1.5p a unit for electric, and pushing 2p for gas. And we get one of those energy monitor thingies. OH's very excited, bless him.

Wooplah for the new dress Tete! A very pretty new dress can make you feel like a totally different person.

Morning all, I didn't mention anything about the rates in the end, as none of the questions really required me to describe what I had been told, more what I hadn't been told, if that makes sense? So I just put that I wasn't given any information on the rates offered there and would have liked more details. Although I only spent three minutes in there (as he didn't tell me anything) and it should have been at least 5 so I probably won't get paid anyway. bah!

Tinkerbel - you are right about the challenge, I always forget to mention it as I'm too busy gassing about other stuff, I have been updating my ticker but doing it on the quiet doesn't really help anyone, I joined for the motivation so will definitely make more of an effort to share now.

Most of mine (if not all) has come from MS so far, have loads of half written reviews to finish & upload but I'm very all or nothing with them and can't seem to find the time at the moment :( Maybe we could have a mini challenge-within-the challenge if you fancy it? Is your username on there the same as on here?

Oh and I had a nice £57ish from Quidco which was mostly for opening the Santander account, should get another £100 from them after three months, although their online banking system is such a nightmare I almost wish I hadn't bothered! Has been over a month now and I've only managed to get into it once, I like to see my (lack of) money each and every day!

My OH is pretty well converted now in most ways, but laziness is his downfall. I knew I'd converted him last year when he ran out of deodorant and said to me "Can you believe it, there was a time when I'd have gone out and just bought Lynx? I'd probably have even bought it from a petrol station!" with a mixture of horror and shame on his face! (Better add, he does still buy nice deodorant, just from Wilkos or Tescos, he's MSE but not smelly!)

Don't mind telling you Cinny! :) We're staying here (because it's got a pirate ship in the pool! :)) and paid about £1800 for flights and hotel for both of us (got it on a special day so saved about £200 each randomly). Tickets for Disney, Universal, Sea World and Busch Gardens have cost £776. We've not got a car as there's a free shuttle service to all the parks there are 2 buses that go everywhere we want and we'll use taxis when we feel posh, the car was going to cost about £400 then there's fuel and parking fees (something like $12 a day at Disney and Universal) on top, we worked out that we wouldn't spend that on taxis so we're public transporting it. I've also bought a discount card for £12 which gets us money off loads of restaurants and shops (a meal in one of the posher restaurants I was planning on going to anyway will more than recoup the cost of the card) - I'm even being MSE on holiday! ;)

Haven't seen OH today (he stayed in bed this morning) so I'm hoping his man period is over and he's actually got more to say than 'Yes', 'No' or 'Fine' at lunchtime! I have to pop to the Post Office to collect my Orlando discount card from the collection office anyway as it needs a signature so if he is in a grump I'll just have to 'get stuck in a big queue' and take ages in town! ;)

That seems like a really good deal Birdie I think me and OH will end up doing the whole America thing for our honeymoon.

Oh and reading a few pages back, I love the Hemnes range from Ikea. I love reading the Young House Love website, that couple make me want my own place even more just to have the chance to do it up (and they are very MSE with how they carry out the renovations.

Feeling so tired today. Worked 54 hours in 5 days and really paying for it now. I've gone and volunteered for overtime Saturday and Sunday night but will end up getting £200 for that so not too shabby.

Excuse me while I head back to bed.

Oooh thanks for that link Shrimpy, lovely site to spend my afternoon reading whilst I pretend to run reports! :D

54 hours in 5 days is a lot, hope next week is quieter, especially as you're working all weekend, you'll be burnt out! £200 over the weekend is very good though! :)

    Happy Friday all!

    Love the tattoo Cinny :)

Yes, Tete I remember Brad. I had a huge crush on him!

My OH is like a demon as well at the moment and has been for a week. There is only room for one hormonal psycho in this relationship at the moment, and that is the heavily pregnant one!!!

Shrimpy - I don't think I would tell on the man either.

Not guilty! Although I think I shall also be making time for a cup of tea and a mooch this afternoon - if only my colleagues would leave me in peace and stop creating work through their incompetence! Why can't everyone be as skilled at multi tasking as the ladies of this thread? ;)

I really want a clothespin chandelier! That is amazeballs, if only we had somewhere to hang something as quirky as that! :D

OH is in a much better mood today thank frick, he was even being a bit grovelly as he sensed (in his words) hatred! :) Told him off about the stupidly overpriced insurance too and he seems to think it's not locked in for any length of time so we can look around for a cheaper deal and switch it if we can. He's also realised that he's going to miss 2 England Rugby World Cup matches whilst we're away, we won't be able to stay up to watch because of the time difference (matches would start at 3am, not that we'd find anywhere open to watch if we were mad enough to stay up!) so he's a [STRIKE]bit[/STRIKE] lot gutted.... mwahahaha! :p

Other people are a nightmare aren't they Shrimpy?

Love that chandelier Birdie, can't imagine ever being able to afford a house with its own utility room though and it might look a bit odd in the living room! :D

Did OH realise that about the rugby before or after he went in his mood? I hope you reminded him it's only a load of big fat blokes chasing a ball :p

Oh Birdie, you've got me all wanting to make pretty things now! I really like this but I could never make it look so pretty!
