Ha ha, I love the idea of manstruation! Do you think they all synchronise if they spend too much time together?

I saw Jason Donovan recently in The Sound of Music, and I really hate to say it but he did seem old - his voice wasn't a patch on what it used to be, I felt really sad for him :( The audience cheered him regardless though so I think we all felt the same way!

Oooh Birdie, I think I've found you! My twitter name is my real name but my picture is of my oldest cat so hopefully you'll know its me and not a total randomer! Bit embarrassed that you are about to discover I follow the entire cast of the Only Way is Essex on Twitter :o

I am terribly ashamed that my first thought reading that was 'Oooooohh! I want to follow Amy!!!' :o

It's really upsetting seeing your childhood heroes age. They're all getting so old now, which makes no sense as we're all still whippersnappers! :p

I think my OH is synchronised with his friends, I can moan to my friend about OH's mood swings and her OH's the same! The boys are worse than the girls IMO! ;)

Joey Essex is my favourite, he tweets things like "on a plane, being reem", "having lunch in Nando's, looking reem" and that's basically it, but it really amuses me for some reason! Simple things!

I have a bit of a dilemma - I sneaked in a MS before work this morning for foreign currency, and the chap who served me basically recommended that I go elsewhere as it would be cheaper (!) Now, clearly this is the type of thing that MS is designed to find out about, but as a fellow moneysaver I feel really mean for telling tales on him just for being nice, I feel we should look after our own! The questionnaire doesn't directly ask me what he said so I could just not mention it, but would that be wrong? I'm not cut out for MS really, I hate it when they don't do everything they're meant to! I like it best when I've been rumbled and get amazing service as I get to write nice things then!

Ooh that is a tough one! You should submit it for a Money Moral Dilemma or whatever they're called.

They don't plant things like that to make sure the mystery shoppers are doing their job do they???

Oh no, I never thought of that! Then I could be undone by my own kindness! Maybe I could make it sound better, say that I was advised to check the rates or something, make it vague...? I mean, why would anyone tell someone to go and shop somewhere else? It is madness! Silly helpful man!

ooh that is a tough one! I think something like being told to check rates sounds good, because the businesses pay for MS services so they deserve to know whats going on!

Ps - wrote a review yesterday towards the challenge!! think we all need to keep it in focus though, some of those tickers are still at zero and I know mine hasn't moved since day 1 oops!!!
I also did a survey yesterday which took me to the cashout level (woopwoop!) so should have something waiting for me at home from that which will be fab! I really like that survey website and they always send the rewards really quickly so yey!

Ooh that is a bit of a dilemma Shrimpy! I say look after our own and be vague with your answers! :)

Well done on the review Tink! I'm not so money healthy this month so my ticker will be altered in a couple of weeks when I've found money to save! :o

Just been looking at our accounts and I'm really annoyed with OH, he skipped off to the bank a couple of weeks ago to sort out some insurance policy that'll pay the bills if we're off work for whatever reason (thinking back to the 9 months he had off work it's not too bad an idea in theory!) but it's £54 a month! I'm NOT happy that he's gone and done this without checking with me, it's a bleeding rip off, just had a look on Go Compare and the same kind of policy is £28! Going to have to dig out his paperwork and see what we're getting for 54 bl00dy quid! At least when I signed up to Medicash I did my research, selected one of the cheaper plans and showed him the benefits so he was happy for us to go ahead with it because we should get our money back and more. I should have just gone to the bank (seriously, who just walks into the bank and signs up to a policy without shopping around first?!) and got the same thing for twice the cost without telling him! Grrrr. And he was still being a grump last night. BAH! I wish I was going away this weekend rather than next! :wall:

£54?! I don't blame you for being angry - I'd rather put that sort of money away in my own bank in case of emergency, it would soon add up! I know what you mean about not shopping around, we are indoctrinated in our MSE ways and wouldn't dream of it but there are so many people who just pay the first price they see. A good example is my work colleague - got a phone upgrade and his provider said send us your old (one year old) handset and we'll give you £30. I did a quick search and found a site which would have given him £80 for it but he still just sent it to his provider because they'd already sent the freepost envelope - pure laziness! People like that deserve to lose out on £50!

Yeah I think keep it vague Shrimpy - saying about comparing prices might make them realise they're not the cheapest - and no matter how good their customer service is (the reason they employ MSes in the first place), people are always going to go with what's cheaper. Except Birdie's OH and my colleague obvs.

Tink - shut up about the challenge will you, at least until I get back from my holiday and have paid out my speeding fines and that? Thanks :D

Oh and I tracked down that dress last night :o was much more flattering in the paisley so I bought it :o but I do love it very much :D

Ooh glad the dres looks nice! Happy new frock! :D

My OH is an idiot when it comes to money, he's always telling other people what's the right thing to do to save money, but when it comes to himself he's too lazy so just goes with the first thing he finds! His Dad made me laugh the other week, he's bought a new TV and spent £500 on a 32" Sony, the exact same TV was £100 cheaper in Argos, which is a 2 minute walk away from the shop he bought it in! I think he wastes money on purpose, to prove that he can afford to! Pfft. He should give me £500, I'll buy the TV and keep the difference as a finder's fee if he's that desperate to throw money around! ;)

Just had a phonecall from an income protection insurance company off the back of that quick enquiry I made earlier, they must be sat watching the screen waiting to ring people as soon as they log any interest!
