that doesn't put you in a good position morally. do you think you could run this event then tell them to stuff it??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Hi everyone, we have had no internet at work all day due to some problem with the BT line, am gutted to come back and find I've missed today's mini Potter fest!
CMD, it does sound as though you are being treated dreadfully at the moment. I know its not much consolation but in 48 (and a bit) hours it will be over. Will you get all your TOIL back or will they be difficult about that as well? Have you had a pregnancy risk assessment as that should take factors like stress into account? Sorry, too many questions. Hope the event runs smoothly, usually the run up is the worst part. If you are able to recoup your time off afterwards that might help. *hugs*

Morally I couldn't do it and there is no-one else to do it so I will run it.
I suppose I could go to the GP on Monday and see what they say.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks Shrimpy,
Yes, I will get all TOIL back for the time worked up. I don't mind the time it's just the pressure. And I am not the only one in work. Maybe I should have a word with the HR manager on Monday about the risk assessment and time worked up.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

CMD that's absolutely terrible - is there no union? If you're worried about letting the kids down, get this week over with (and only do what you can do, you're only human) and then go on the sick with WORK-RELATED STRESS - they shouldn't be treating you like that. Then by the time your maternity's over you'll be back in the auld country and all will be well and you can tell them to stuff it.
Massive hugs.
Aww NIM that's really sad about the farm - will you not be in line to inherit it at some point? I can see you and Dinah living the good life in the country - you out working the land and D baking cakes and painting with little Jonny, Ronny and Bonnie
Aaaannnnd guess who's just cancelled our cinema evening an hour before we were meant to meet? Apparently some work crisis where their funding might be stopped and they'll all be out of a job (NHS front line, cheers DC) - this may be fabricated/exaggerated, but it may not so I'm taking the moral high ground for now and being all appalled and sympathetic, but I'm pretty sure I'll be 'busy' next time she asksWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Thanks Tete. I have calmed down again. She is the same with everyone else. I have had a bad feeling about the job since I went to the first day of induction back at the beginning of Feb and only for I was pregnant I would have chucked it there and then. I am just glad that I am getting to go.
The workload for the next 3 weeks actually looks not too bad and I am taking lots of TOIL in between so should be fine. Would rather see it out than take it off as stress.
I can't believe your friend cancelled on you again. That is so disrespectable.
I could see NIM and Dinah living out a good life type of existence too, and I see them with 3 bambinos too!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I can just imagine Dinah and NIM doing that too, love the kids names hehe.
CMD - glad you are feeling slightly better and the next 3 weeks should be less stressful.
Typical Tete, hard to know with that kind of person if they are telling the truth.0 -

Nope, mums side of the family, as I said all signed over to him about 30 years ago and he has 2 legitimite kids plus the illegitimate one with the new woman (there is still a difference in inheritance law in Ireland, thats not a jab at the kid) , not to mention his siblings all of whom would rank ahead of me on it even if he wasnt just going to end up selling it all off bit by bit for housing.clearmydebts wrote: »I can't believe your friend cancelled on you again. I'd let it go on this one cause the reason is just about believeable enough, unless she is known to lie that big in which case get her toldclearmydebts wrote: »I could see NIM and Dinah living out a good life type of existence too, and I see them with 3 bambinos too!
