I know, where is everyone? Obviously there aren't going to be many people around at 11:20 pm on a Thursday night hehe.
Bight shifts aren't too bad *knock on wood* but my heart just really isn't in it any more. I really want to move on and although the job I have an interview for isn't exactly the kind of thing I want to do, it's a years contract and valuable experience at the end of the day!
Hope things aren't too busy for you Dinah, remember to try and take a breather every once in a while, don't want you burning out.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
It is definately quiet without Birdie. I miss Tete too ,know she is busy with her running etc.
Look forward to an update Dinah.0 -
i'm sure she'll make up for it when she comes back off her hols and tells us all about it
Did you get a lot done yesterday Dinah??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Yes, I've been checking Tete's blog for a GNR update, but nothing so far. I hope she's well. OMG Birdie must be in seventh heaven right now :rotfl: I am so jealous of the lovely sunshine she'll be having.
I am just finishing off my humungous essay which has to be sent in this afternoon. Currently building my bibliography but I have to do one final re-read and correct which will probably take ages. I'm dying of the cold here, so still sat in my jammies with a big box of tissues. OH and I were supposed to be going out dancing tonight, bought tickets and everything. No chance nowStill looking forward to just chilling out a bit this evening.
Then tomorrow we have to clean the house and pack - because Sunday is our honeymoon! I've been so busy working on this deadline I haven't even thought about it. We are just so desperate for a holiday now. It's going to be great - very chilled. We just booked a little flat in Florence for 10 days.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Has anyone heard from Tete since the run??
ooh Lara you must be excited about your honeymoon now?? hope you manage to get the essay done and dusted today. Shame about not being able to go dancing tonight. I would offer to go for you but think I may be a bit too fat for dancing at the moment.hope you are feeling better soon

I was actually having a little worry about Tete this morning, hopefully she is ok and having a well earned rest (or more likely busy planning her next challenge)
Exciting about the honeymoon Lara, sounds gorgeous. Hopefully you will be all better by then.
I have a little challenge update, £1.64 interest from current account (have transferred it out so hope its ok to count it?) £1.50 from MS and £18.27 from paypal from survey sites. Still no home internet so am finding it very tough at the moment, but I guess if it was easy it wouldn't be a challenge!
Don't know if any of you follow the £10 a day thread still but there seems to be quite a good thing going on with the McCain website at the mo - can't really look into it at the mo but people seem to be making a few vouchers worth out of it, could be handy for xmas for those who have the time and aren't internet-less! I sent Tete a message on myfitnesspal yesterday and got a reply back pretty much straight away. She's doing well, has been reading but very busy at work and can't get her phone to post on the thread. She's in London this weekend, but is hoping to post and say hi after the weekend.
For anyone who thinks I do too much, this is a really badly formatted post, don't read too much into it. For anyone who understands why I am the way I am, well, you have your suspicions of what to do.
